Looking back, how do you feel your sound and identity as Delta Vaults have evolved since then? Delta Vaults:** 2022 was a true turning point for me. That year, my mindset shifted and pushed me to do more, to explore, and to take risks. It was a rollercoaster: losing my father was one of the hardest moments of my life, but I also found hope again when Lost Frequencies invited me to join him on his European tour. Looking back at it now, I feel that “Instinct” was the project that gave me the confidence to finally share my sound with the world. Performing at iconic venues like Forest National, AFAS Live, and Lotto Arena was an experience that shaped me not only as a producer but also as a performer. Since then, my sound has evolved while staying true to the epic and melodic identity that defines Delta Vaults. Through the years, I’ve learned to push it further, blending emotion and energy with modern influences while keeping that signature I create. **TF: Your music is such an epic blend of cinematic melodies and powerful beats. How much of your background in film soundtracks continues to shape the way you approach electronic production today?** **Delta Vaults:** Massively. My love for soundtracks taught me that music can be more than just rhythm, it can tell a story, build tension, and release emotions. That cinematic mindset is still in everything I produce. Whether it’s a track for a festival stage or a late-night club, I always think in terms of story telling. **TF: You’ve just made your Purified Records debut with ‘Colors Of Life’ on the ‘Fragments XXXI’ compilation. What does joining the Purified family mean to you at this stage of your career?** **Delta Vaults:**Purified has always been a label I admired and a home I worked toward. The way Nora En Pure and her team build such a unique community has inspired me for a long time. Joining the family with Colors Of Life feels like both a milestone and a new beginning, giving me the chance to grow alongside a label that stands for more than just music, but also for protecting nature and its beauty. As an artist, I deeply respect that, and I’m grateful for this opportunity to join Purified. Can you take us into the creative process behind it, where the idea sparked from, and how it evolved into the version we hear today? Delta Vaults:** As crazy as it may seem, the melody actually came to me while I was driving home one night. I have this habit of recording myself singing ideas into my phone, otherwise I forget them and that’s exactly what I did. As soon as I got back, I jumped on my computer and started building the whole idea around that melody. From there, I then kept refining it over months, testing it live and shaping it until it became the version you hear today. **TF: There’s a cinematic grandeur in the track, yet it’s also a peak-time club tune. How do you balance emotional storytelling with energy on the dancefloor when you’re producing? Delta Vaults:** It’s always about merging emotion and dynamics. I want listeners to feel something deep, but I also want to keep their bodies moving. Usually, I start with a strong melodic idea that tells the story, then I work on rhythm and energy around it. **TF: In the last twelve months, you also teamed up with Passenger 10 and delivered remixes for artists like The Blaze, Anotr, and The Weeknd. What do you look for when you’re reinterpreting another artist’s work? Delta Vaults:** For me, collaborations and remixes are a way to explore new worlds and new visions. I enjoy them because they can lead to something completely fresh, blending different signatures together. With remixes, it’s like adding my own touch and saying, “this is how I would have done it.” Sharing ideas is everything, it’s the true source of inspiration. **TF: How did the collaboration with Passenger 10 come about, and what did you take away from working with a Grammy-nominated producer? Delta Vaults:** Passenger 10 has always been a reference point for me when it comes to melodies, chord progressions, and storytelling. Even before Delta Vaults existed, I remember having his tracks on my iPod and listening to them for hours. Our collaboration felt like a natural match, both of us share a melodic and cinematic vision of music. We created a track where the emotion was present from the start, and the direction of the song felt completely natural. There’s something magical about seeing people connect with the energy and emotion of my tracks. Playing my music live feels like therapy, a reminder of why I do what I do, and it drives me to keep growing, exploring, and taking my career up. ****TF:**Can you give us a glimpse into what fans can expect from your upcoming music?** **Delta Vaults:** Not gonna spoil the big news yet, of course, but some quite big collaborations are on the way and remixes as well, which I’m super excited for. **TF: Finally, with the trajectory you’re on, what’s one dream milestone, whether a collaboration, festival, or personal project that you’d love to achieve in the next couple of years?** **Delta Vaults:** About dream collaboration, I have got in mind a few names, both on the energy part, like Artbat, Massano, Innellea, but also on the melodic part, such as Agents of Time, Cassian, Nora En Pure. About dream festival, above all and as a Belgian DJ, Tomorrowland has always been a goal.
