The Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2027 Features David Guetta

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has unveiled the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2027, which includes big names across categories like recording, television, motion pictures, and more. 

EDM superstar David Guetta will have his name engraved in brass lettering atop a five-pointed terrazzo-and-brass star on the sidewalk at Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in Los Angeles. The Paris-born DJ/producer is part of the Recording category for The Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2027. 

Joseph Saddler AKA Grandmaster Flash, Linkin Park, Latin Grammy award-winner Karol G, iconic hip-hop artist Lil Wayne, Australian singer-songwriter Sia, American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins, and composer and lyricist Marc Shaiman will also be receiving the Recording category star alongside David Guetta.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has also selected country music star Waylon Jennings to receive a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as part of the Class of 2027. Idris Alba, Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning, Delroy Lindo and Kate Hudson are among the honourees in the motion pictures category, while Lisa Kudrow (‘Friends’), Adam Scott (‘Severance’), Raven-Symoné (‘That’s So Raven’) and Pedro Pascal (‘The Last of Us’ and ‘The Mandalorian’) will be awarded stars in the television category. 

David Guetta is among the biggest and most recognizable names in electronic music all over the world. The DJ/producer has earned fifteen Grammy nominations and has taken home two Grammy awards. Guetta’s ‘Titanium (feat. Sia)’ and ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ with Bebe Rexha have both surpassed 2.2 billion plays on digital streaming platforms. His career began about four decades ago, and he still takes over the hottest clubs and major festival stages like Coachella and Tomorrowland.
