Your venue pages
Add a venue page to the brand you already run
A venue team that started selling tickets here before the venue page was claimed can take that page over from inside the dashboard, and so can a promoter group that runs the room. Your brand keeps every event it already has, and the venue page joins it as one more thing you look after.
Choose a venue your brand has run events at, or search for any venue by name, prove an email address at the venue's own website, and its public page joins your brand beside your events.
- For
- Running a brand on Ticket Fairy and taking over a venue page from inside it
- Takes
- 5 minutes
Before you start
- You need an owner or an admin seat on the brand the venue will join. A producer, marketing or stats seat can read the venue list, and adding a venue to the brand stays with owners and admins.
- You need an email address at the website your venue publishes. That is the only address a code goes to, and the venue you choose names the domain for you.
- Your brand has venue pages switched on, so Venues is in its menu.
-
Open Venues in your brand
Play from hereYour brand's venue pages sit under Venues. Select Add a venue.
Note: A brand that looks after no venue yet opens on an empty list with the same control on it.
Brand, Venues. -
Choose the venue
Play from hereThe dialog opens on the venues your brand has run events at, with a search box for every other venue on the platform.
Note: Running an event at a room does not entitle a brand to its page, so a venue on that list is still proved by a code the same way any other is.
-
Enter your email address at the venue's domain
Play from hereThe dialog names the website the venue publishes. Enter an address on that domain and select Send the code.
Note: An address on a subdomain of that domain counts too, so [email protected] proves as much as [email protected].
-
Enter the six digits from the email
Play from hereThe code reaches that address and is good for 15 minutes. Enter it and select Confirm.
Note: Each code allows five tries, and Send another code stops the old one working.
Tip: A venue mailbox is often shared, so the email names the venue whose page was asked for.
-
Say what you do at the venue
Play from hereChoose I run the venue or I am on the team here, then select Add the venue.
Note: Either answer lets your brand change what the page says. Your name and your job title sit beside your answer in your own words, and both can stay empty.
-
Open the page you now look after
Play from hereThe dialog answers
The page is now part of <your brand>. Open it to change what it says.
Select Open the page.Tip: Add another venue starts the next one without closing the dialog.

Or have it done for you
Fai, the assistant inside your dashboard, can list the venues your brand has played whose pages it could still claim, and search every venue on the platform by name. She tells you which ones can be claimed and why the others cannot. Proving the address stays with you in the dialog, because confirming a code gives a venue page to a brand. MCP and the command line do not reach a venue claim.

Questions you might have
- Why can I not claim a venue the search found?
- The venue says which of three reasons it is. Another brand looks after the page already; the venue publishes a phone number and no website, so there is nothing to send a code to; or it publishes no way to reach it at all. The last two are sorted out by contacting us, and a person checks the venue with you.
- Why does searching for "The O2" find nothing?
- The search reads words of three letters or more and passes over common ones such as "the", so a name made only of those matches nothing. Search for the distinctive part instead, such as "O2 Academy".
- Does adding a venue change who owns my brand?
- No. Your brand keeps the owner it has, whichever answer you give about what you do at the venue. That differs from claiming a venue page from the public venue page, which builds a brand around the claim.
- Can a promoter or a stats seat add a venue?
- No. You need an owner or an admin seat on the brand, and the page answers
Only this brand's owners and admins can claim a venue for it.
if you hold another one. Producers, marketing and stats seats read the venue list. - My venue is not in the suggestions. Is that a problem?
- No. The suggestions are the venues your brand has run events at, as a shortcut. A venue that has never sold a ticket with us still has a page, and the search finds it by name.
- How many venues can one brand look after?
- As many as your team claims. Each one is proved on its own, and a venue page has one brand looking after it at a time.
