# Add your ticket concierge to your website

Festival, club and venue teams get the most from a concierge on the pages buyers already read before they buy. On the Install tab, you get one line of code for your site, choose which sites can show the chat, and choose who on your team gets the questions the concierge can't answer.

You're using the Install tab as part of giving ticket buyers an AI concierge. You can return to the concierge guide once the chat shows on your site. [Give ticket buyers an AI concierge](https://www.ticketfairy.com/guides/give-buyers-an-ai-concierge)

## Before you start

- You need an owner or an admin role on the brand to open the concierge builder.
- On Free you can set up a concierge and test it in your dashboard. Turning it on for your buyers needs a paid plan: choose one in your dashboard, or start the 30-day Pro trial by adding a card.
- You have created a Concierge and saved it at least once, because the code for your site appears after the first save.
- You can change the code on your website, or you know who looks after it for you.

1. ## Open the Add to your website tab
    [Play from here](#guide-video)
   Open your brand, select **Concierge** under **Intelligence**, select **Edit** on your Concierge, then select the **Add to your website** tab.

   ![The Add to your website tab of a festival's Concierge, with the website where it can appear, the install code and where unanswered questions go](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-concierge--install.png)
   *A Concierge, Add to your website tab.*
2. ## Enter your website address
    [Play from here](#guide-video)
   Enter the address buyers open in **Your website URL**, such as https://www.yourfestival.com.

   **Note:** The chat loads only on the sites you list. An address with www and the same address without it count as two sites, so add both if your site opens on both.
3. ## Add your other sites
    [Play from here](#guide-video)
   Optional: Select **+ Add another site** and enter each other site that should show the chat, such as a separate site for one event.
4. ## Choose who takes the questions it can't answer
    [Play from here](#guide-video)
   Choose where a buyer's question goes when the concierge passes it to a person, under **Who answers when the AI can't help?**.

   - **Send to brand inbox**: Ticket Fairy emails the owners, admins and customer support members of your brand team with what the buyer asked and any contact details they gave. This is the default.
   - **Send to TF support**: Ticket Fairy's support team takes the question instead of your team.
   - **TF first, then brand**: Ticket Fairy's support team sees the question first and can pass it on to your team.
5. ## Turn on table booking enquiries
    [Play from here](#guide-video)
   Optional: Turn on **Accept table booking enquiries** to let buyers leave a table enquiry for an event that has no tables to book.

   **Note:** The concierge asks for the party size, a date and a way to reach the buyer, and the enquiry goes where you sent questions in the step before.
6. ## Save the Concierge
    [Play from here](#guide-video)
   Select **Save changes** at the top of the page.
7. ## Copy the install code
    [Play from here](#guide-video)
   Select the copy icon at the top right of **Install code**. The icon's label changes once the code is on your clipboard.

   **Tip:** Select **Copy install code** on the list of Concierges to copy the same code without opening the Concierge.
8. ## Paste the install code into your site
    [Play from here](#guide-video)
   Paste the install code right before the closing body tag of every page where buyers should see the chat, or send it to the person who looks after your site.

   **Note:** A site builder usually has one place for code that runs on every page, which puts the chat on all of them at once.
9. ## Turn it on
    [Play from here](#guide-video)
   In the setup checklist at the top of the Concierge, select **Turn it on** in the **Go live** step.

   **Note:** A new Concierge starts turned off, so buyers see nothing on your site until you turn it on. Turning it on needs a paid plan.
10. ## Check the chat on your site
     [Play from here](#guide-video)
    Open your site in a new browser window and select the chat bubble at the bottom of the page. The concierge greets you with your welcome message.

    **Note:** The bubble sits bottom right and says Chat with us unless you changed it on the **Look** tab.
11. ## Confirm the checklist ticks the install step
     [Play from here](#guide-video)
    Open the Concierge again. The setup checklist at the top shows **Seen on your website** with your site and when the chat last loaded there, such as Seen on www.yourfestival.com 5 minutes ago.

    **Note:** Only the sites you listed count, and opening the preview in your dashboard does not. The time updates at most once an hour for each site.

## Or have it done for you

Fai can open your Concierges, give you the install code and tell you which of your websites the chat has loaded on. On the Add to your website tab in the dashboard, choose the websites where the chat can appear and who gets the questions it passes on, then add the install code to your own site.

### In your dashboard, with Fai

```
Open the Concierges for <BRAND NAME> and give me the install code for our website
```

## Get a new install code if another site copied yours

 [Play from here](#guide-video)

1. ### Select Get a new install code

   On the **Add to your website** tab, select **Get a new install code** under **Advanced**.

   **Note:** Get a new code when you think another site has copied yours. The old code stops working at once.
2. ### Confirm the new code

   Select **Yes, get a new code**.

   **Warning:** The chat stops working on every site that still has the old install code, until you replace it.

   ![The Get a new install code confirmation, warning that the old install code stops working straight away](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-concierge--rotate-widget-key.png)
   *Get a new install code, confirmation.*
3. ### Replace the install code on your sites

   Copy the new **Install code** and paste it over the old one on every page that shows the chat.

Fai can get a new install code for you after you approve it, and give you the new code. You replace the code on your own site.

### In your dashboard, with Fai

```
Get a new install code for the concierge on <BRAND NAME> and give me the new code
```

## Archive a concierge you no longer use

 [Play from here](#guide-video)

1. ### Select Archive

   On the list of Concierges, open the menu on the Concierge and select **Archive**.

   **Note:** Archiving turns the concierge off, so buyers stop seeing it on every site. Its conversations stay, and you can restore it at any time.
2. ### Confirm

   Select **Archive** in the box that asks you to confirm.
3. ### Restore it later

   Select **Archived** above the list, then select **Restore** on the Concierge.

   **Note:** It comes back turned off. Turn it on with the switch at the top of the Concierge when you want buyers to see it again.

Fai can archive a concierge or restore it after you approve, and list your archived concierges.

### In your dashboard, with Fai

```
Archive the <CONCIERGE NAME> concierge on <BRAND NAME>
```

## Questions you might have

**Can the chat match my website's fonts and buttons?**

 Yes. On the Look tab, turn on the new appearance engine. The chat can then use the same free fonts and your own fonts as your website embeds, square or rounded corners everywhere, a flat style without glows and calmer movement. The chat button can be a circle, a square or a pill with your own text, with its own size, colors, icon, border and shadow, and the chat header can show your logo. Concierges you made before keep their look until you turn the new engine on.

**Can the chat copy the look of my website for me?**

 Yes. Select Match my website on the Look tab, pick a page of your website, and Ticket Fairy proposes its colors, fonts, corners and chat button. You see your website beside a preview, apply what you like and can undo it. The chat button on your pages can also use your website's own button style. [Match your ticket checkout to your website design](https://www.ticketfairy.com/guides/match-your-website-design) covers each step.

**Can the checkout from the chat look like my website embed?**

 Yes. With the new appearance engine on, choose the checkout look on the Look tab. Match my embed uses the website embed for that event, or your first brand-wide embed, so buyers see the same fonts, colors and layout. Ticket Fairy standard keeps today's look.

**Can I remove "Powered by Ticket Fairy" from the chat?**

 Yes, on a plan that includes removing Ticket Fairy branding, the same add-on that removes it from your website embeds. Turn off the Ticket Fairy credit on the Look tab. On a white-label platform, the platform's own credit setting decides. "Need help from a person?" always stays.

**Can buyers buy tickets without leaving the chat?**

 Yes. When a buyer picks a ticket and says they want it, the concierge puts it in their basket and opens checkout on your page, where they pay as they would on your event page.

**Which currency does the concierge quote prices in?**

 The same currency your event page shows that buyer. If your event sells in more than one currency, a buyer can ask for prices in any of them, and the checkout the chat opens keeps that currency.

**Why doesn't the chat show on my site?**

 Check that the address in **Your website URL** matches the one in your browser, www included, that the install code is on that page, and that the switch at the top of the Concierge reads **Live**. A concierge that is turned off or archived doesn't answer on any site. Until the chat has loaded on one of your listed sites, the setup checklist does not show Seen on your website.

**Can I try the concierge on a test site first?**

 Yes. Add the test site's exact address with **+ Add another site**, and remove it when you go live.

**Can I put the same concierge on more than one website?**

 Yes. List each site under **Websites where it can appear** and paste the same install code on each one. Give an event with its own website its own Concierge when its answers differ.

**What does a buyer see when the concierge hands them to a person?**

 The chat tells them their request is logged. The concierge never promises a reply time, so answer the email quickly and reach the buyer on the contact details they gave.
