Fai, your co-pilot
Ask Fai about your event
Promoters spend more time looking things up than deciding anything, and most of those questions have an answer already sitting in the dashboard. Fai reads your own events, orders and buyers, answers in plain language, and asks you before she changes anything.
Put a question about your event to the assistant inside your dashboard, give her the detail she asks for, and check the work before you act on it.
- For
- Getting answers about your own events by asking for them
- Takes
- 6 minutes
Before you start
- You are signed in to the dashboard, with the brand you want to ask about selected. Fai answers about what you can already see, so your role decides what she will tell you.
- You know roughly what you want to know. A question with a name and a number in it gets a better answer than one without.
-
Open Fai and ask in your own words
Open the assistant panel and enter your question the way you would ask a colleague.
Note: You do not have to name a report or a field. "Which ticket type is selling slowest?" works as well as anything more formal.
-
Answer the questions she asks back
Answer the follow-up when Fai needs a detail she cannot work out.
Note: She asks rather than guesses when a question could mean two things. Picking from her list is faster than starting again with a longer question.
Fai, asking what she needs before answering. -
Approve anything that changes your event
Read the change Fai proposes, then approve it.
Note: Approve it only when it says what you meant. Reading your data is hers to do freely, but anything that edits an event, an order or a message comes to you first.
-
Check the figure against the report
Open the report behind the answer whenever the number is going into a decision that costs money.
Note: Fai reads the same data the reports do, and telling her she is wrong is the fastest way to find out which of you is.
Or have it done for you
Fai is the agent path. She works on the brand and event you have open, reads what your role reaches, and asks before she changes anything.
In your dashboard, with Fai
How many tickets has <EVENT NAME> sold so far, and how does that compare with the same point before my last event
From your own assistant, over MCP
Connect your assistant to our MCP server and ask it:
Keep --read-only in your MCP configuration. This task only reads data, so your assistant does not need tools that make changes.
Pick the brand, find the event <EVENT NAME> and show its sales
From your terminal
Install the CLI from our CLI page, sign in with ticketfairy auth login, and choose the brand you are working on with ticketfairy brand use <BRAND_ID>. ticketfairy brand list and ticketfairy event list show the IDs the other commands use.
The CLI reads the same figures Fai reads, without the conversation.
Show an event and its current sales
ticketfairy event stats <EVENT_ID>
Ask her to do the work, not only describe it
-
Give her the whole job
Ask for the outcome rather than the step, and let Fai propose the changes she needs to make.
Note: She asks for every detail she is missing before she proposes anything, and nothing is saved until you approve it.
Fai proposes the changes and waits for your approval on each one.
In your dashboard, with Fai
Set up an early bird tier for <EVENT NAME> at twenty per cent below the standard price, ask me for the allocation and the dates, and show me the change before you save it

Questions you might have
- Can Fai see other people's events?
- No. She works inside the same permissions you do, so she answers about the brands and events your role reaches and nothing else.
- Will she change something without asking?
- No. Reading your data is free; anything that changes an event, an order or a message is put to you first and saved only when you approve it.
- What should I do when an answer looks wrong?
- Say so in the conversation and name the figure you expected. Then open the report behind it, because one of the two is worth knowing about.
