Check the payout for your event Getting paid # Check the payout for your event Your event has finished and you want to know when the money arrives in your bank. When Ticket Fairy takes your card payments, the money usually arrives 10 to 15 business days after the event, and where there are chargebacks or cancellations, funds can be held for the chargeback window. On your own connected Stripe account, that company pays you on its own schedule, daily where your country supports it. With a promoter role, you see the figures at the top of Performance but not the payout pages. To open Payouts & balance, you need an owner or an admin role on the brand. - Your event has finished, or is close to it. You can see the figures from the first sale, and the payout comes after the event. 1. ## See what the event earned Open your event and select **Performance**. **Net revenue** is what the event has earned after referral rebates, including add-ons and table guest revenue, while box office cash has a card of its own. **Note:** The line under the figure names whichever of those apply to your event. Tickets a buyer is holding in checkout count towards it until they pay or the hold runs out, so the figure can briefly be higher than the money you've taken. ![The figures across the top of the Performance page, with tickets sold, net revenue and referral rebates](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-analytics--sales-summary-cards.png) *Event, Performance.* 2. ## Look for the released mark If Ticket Fairy collects the payments for your event, a tick and **Released to bank** appear on the Net revenue card once we've sent the money. If your event uses your own card account, you never see this mark here, because your payment company makes those payouts. 3. ## Check where the money goes Open the brand, select **Details** and check **Payout Details**, which shows the bank account we pay into. You can pay one event into a different account with **Use alternative payout details for this event**. **Note:** Check this before the event rather than after. If a payout is already on its way when you correct the account, ask Ticket Fairy support to recall it. ## Or have it done for you Fai, your AI teammate, can check sales, update your event or change a ticket when you ask. Fai can tell you the same figures, and where you have a connected card account she lists the most recent payouts sent from it, with the date each one was due to land. Your bank statement confirms when each one arrived. In Vault, she also reads each event's payout from Vault: expected, on hold or paid, with the expected dates. Pending refund requests can delay a payout by up to 90 days, and repeated chargebacks or complaints, or an event Ticket Fairy classes as high risk, by up to 120 days. **Note:** The publish review lists the ones that apply to your event. Ask Ticket Fairy support if none of them applies and the money has not arrived. Fai can check whether the event is postponed or canceled and tell you what that means for the payout. ### In your dashboard, with Fai ``` Is anything holding back the payout for ``` ## See the balance and what has been paid On a brand that takes its own card payments, open the brand, select **Payments** and select **View** beside the account. On a **Managed Account** it opens **Payouts & balance** with every payout made, and on a **Standard** or **Full Stripe Account** it opens your payouts in Stripe. **Note:** On a Xendit account, select **Manage** to open the Xendit dashboard. You need an owner or an admin role on the brand. Fai reads the payouts made and can break one down into its charges, refunds and fees, which helps when you can't reconcile a figure. ### In your dashboard, with Fai ``` Break down the last payout for into charges, refunds and fees ``` ## Questions you might have **Why is the amount in my bank not the Net revenue figure?** Net revenue is what the event earned, not what arrives in your bank. Any refunds made later come off before the payout. When Ticket Fairy processes your sales, card fees come out of Ticket Fairy's ticketing fee, so they do not usually come off your payout. On your own payment processing account, your processor takes its card fees before it pays you. When we pay a brand for several events at once, they arrive as one payment. Ask Ticket Fairy support for the breakdown of a payout you cannot reconcile. **Can I still refund an order after the money is released?** No. Once an event's money has been released or withheld, you can't refund from the Orders page. Releasing the money normally turns the buyer's own refund button off as well, but holding a payout back does not, so on a held event a buyer can still refund themselves while you cannot. Ask Ticket Fairy support to refund the buyer for you. **What does Current deposit mean?** It appears where you sell tables that are not paid in full, and it is the deposit part of those bookings rather than their whole price. The figure beside it is what is still owed on them. **Can a promoter see what the event earned?** Yes. A promoter sees the figures across the top of Performance, though below them they see only Ticket Sales and Release Breakdown, with no referral rebates card. They cannot open the payout pages on the brand. **Can I see every event's payout in one list?** Yes, as a brand owner. **Events** under **Vault** lists each event with where its ticket money goes and when its payout is due, and **Payout due** shows the ones still to be paid, as [See what each event earned in Vault](https://www.ticketfairy.com/guides/see-what-your-event-earned) shows. **Where do I change the account you pay into?** On the brand, under Details, in Payout Details. Change it there before the event ends, because a payout already sent to the old account has to be recalled. ## Still have a question?
