Choose which AI assistants sell your tickets

Promoters, venues and festival teams can sell tickets to buyers who ask an AI assistant what is on, at the same prices and with the same ticket rules as their event page. You decide which assistants sell for your brand, and you can keep any of them away from one event, such as a members-only show.

AI shopping assistants can start a ticket order for buyers who ask them about events, at your prices and with your ticket rules, and send the buyer to the Ticket Fairy checkout page to pay. Turn an assistant off for your brand, or pause it for one event, to stop new ticket sales through it.

Before you start

  • You're an owner or an admin of the brand. If you can't see Payments on your brand, ask an owner or an admin to do this part.
  1. Open Payments on your brand

Open your brand and select Payments. Sell through AI assistants lists each assistant Ticket Fairy has set up by name, then one Any other AI assistant row for every other assistant, each marked Selling or Off.

Note: Every assistant sells your tickets until someone on your brand turns it off.

A buyer's order through an assistant

A buyer asks an assistant about events, and the assistant starts the order at your prices and with your ticket rules, then sends the buyer to the Ticket Fairy checkout page to pay. The order then appears with your other orders, the same as an order a buyer starts on your event page.

  1. Select Turn off beside the assistant

Select Turn off beside the assistant you want to stop. A dialog asks you to confirm, with the assistant's name in its title.

  2. Confirm the change

Select Turn off in the dialog. New checkouts and payments through that assistant stop straight away, for every event on your brand.

Note: A buyer the assistant has already sent to the Ticket Fairy checkout page can still finish there. Existing orders, refunds and support carry on as normal.

  3. Check the assistant shows Off

Read the assistant's row in Sell through AI assistants again. It shows Off, with Turn on beside it.

Questions you might have

Why can't I see Sell through AI assistants?
You need an owner or admin login for the brand to see or change it. Ask an owner or an admin of the brand to make the change, or to give you an admin role.
Which AI assistants are on the list?
The list names each assistant Ticket Fairy has set up with its maker. Any other assistant that uses an open shopping protocol can also sell your tickets, and the Any other AI assistant row turns all of those on or off together, or pauses them for one event. When the list says No AI assistants are available yet., no assistant can sell your tickets yet and there is nothing to turn off.
Will an assistant recommend my event?
An assistant that is turned on can sell your tickets when a buyer asks it for them. Each assistant decides for itself what it suggests, so Ticket Fairy cannot promise that one will recommend your event.
Do buyers pay inside the assistant?
The assistant sends the buyer to the Ticket Fairy checkout page to pay. Paying inside an assistant is a pilot on a few selected events, and turning the assistant off or pausing it stops those payments too.
Do my promo codes work through an assistant?
Yes. A promo code gives the same price with the same rules as on the Ticket Fairy checkout page, one code per order. Some assistants take the code from the buyer, and with the others the buyer enters it on the Ticket Fairy checkout page.
What happens to orders already made through an assistant I turned off?
Nothing changes for them. The tickets stay valid, and refunds, support and order updates carry on as normal. A buyer the assistant has already sent to the Ticket Fairy checkout page can still finish their order there.
Does turning an assistant off hide my event from AI search?
No. Your public event pages and the event search that assistants read stay available. Turning an assistant off stops new sales through that assistant only.
Why can't I pause an assistant on my event?
The assistant is Off for this brand, so it can't sell any of your brand's events. Select Open brand payments beside it and turn it on for the brand first, if you want it to sell this event.
I turned an assistant back on for my brand. Is my event still paused?
Yes. A pause on one event stays until you select Resume on that event, whatever you change for the brand.
Two of us changed the same assistant at the same time. Whose change won?
The first one saved. The second person sees a message saying someone else changed it, and the section shows the current settings. Check them, then make your change again if you still need it.
Why did an assistant disappear from the list?
Ticket Fairy no longer approves it to sell tickets, so it can't sell any brand's tickets. If you see This AI assistant is no longer available. We've refreshed the list., that is what happened while you had the page open.
Is each change recorded?
Yes. Each change keeps who made it and when, and appears in the activity log as AI assistant sales turned on, AI assistant sales turned off, AI assistant sales paused for an event or AI assistant sales resumed for an event.
