# Find your event emails and templates from the previous Messaging pages

Promoters and venue teams who emailed their buyers from the previous Messaging pages have months of sends and saved templates there. Messaging brings that history in beside everything new, so the doors email from last season is one search away.

See the emails and texts your team sent or scheduled to ticket holders from the previous Messaging pages in Messages, with their results, send one again, and find your email templates and Mailchimp list in their new places.

For: Teams moving to Messaging from the previous Messaging and Email Templates pages

Takes: 4 minutes

- [Open Messages](#step-1)
- [Find the message](#step-2)
- [Open a sent message](#step-3)
- [Select Duplicate to send it again](#step-4)
- [If it is scheduled, change it on the previous page](#step-5)
- [Find your email templates](#step-6)
- [Optional: Open the previous Messaging page](#step-7)

## Before you start

- You're an owner, an admin or a marketing team member of the brand. Messaging is part of every plan.

1. ## Open Messages

Go to your brand, select **Messaging**, then **Messages**. The emails and texts sent or scheduled from the previous Messaging pages of your brand and its events are listed with everything else, marked **From the previous Messaging page**.

**Note:** They are brought in the first time someone on your team opens Messaging, and a note at the top of Messages says so while it happens. Every email or text sent from the previous pages after that appears here straight away.

2. ## Find the message

Enter a name or subject in **Search by name or subject**, or choose the event above the list. A message from the previous page is named after its subject, and a text after its first words.
3. ## Open a sent message

Select the message. It shows who sent it and when, the group it went to, its words, and **Results** counted the same way as for every other message.

**Note:** A message from the previous page stays as it was sent, so it can't be changed or sent again as it is.
![Ticket Fairy email sent from the previous Messaging page, with who sent it, its results and Duplicate](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-messaging-suite--previous-page-message.png) Messaging, Messages, an email from the previous Messaging page.
4. ## Select Duplicate to send it again

Select **Duplicate**. A copy opens as a new draft in the plain editor with the same event and words, ready for you to change, check and send.

**Note:** Where the previous page sent to a group Messaging doesn't offer, such as orders on hold, the copy goes to everyone with a ticket until you choose another group.
5. ## If it is scheduled, change it on the previous page

Select a scheduled message from the previous page. The previous Messaging page of its event opens, where you cancel or replace it before it goes out.
6. ## Find your email templates

Select **Templates**. The templates from the Email Templates pages of your brand and its events are under **Emails** and **Gift certificates**, and the switched-off ones under **Switched off**.
7. ## Optional: Open the previous Messaging page

Select **Settings**, then **Open previous Messaging page** under **Previous Messaging page**. It shows the emails your brand sent from there, with their results.

## Questions you might have

Where did Email Templates go in the menu?: Your email templates are under **Templates** in Messaging, for your brand and for each event, and the old Email Templates addresses open them there.

Will a message from the previous page be sent twice?: No. Bringing it into Messages only lists it, and a scheduled one still goes out once, from the previous page, at its time.

Where is Mailchimp now?: Under **Settings** in Messaging, for your brand and for each event, if you're an owner or an admin and your dashboard shows Mailchimp.

Why don't I see my old messages yet?: They are still being brought in, and the note at the top of **Messages** says so. Open Messages again in a few minutes and they are listed.

Are test emails from the previous page listed?: No. Tests and canceled scheduled emails are left out, because they never went to your buyers.
