# Give ticket buyers an AI concierge

Most of the questions that stop a sale are the same ten questions, and they arrive at the worst hour of the night. A concierge widget on your own site answers them from what you told it, points people at the right event, and leaves your inbox for the questions that genuinely need you.

Put an assistant on your own site that answers what buyers ask before they buy, from the answers you gave it.

For: Answering buyer questions on your own website

Takes: 9 minutes

- [Create a widget for the brand](#step-1)
- [Enter what the concierge should know](#step-2)
- [Preview it before anyone else sees it](#step-3)
- [Put it on your site](#step-4)

## Before you start

- You are an owner or admin of the brand. The concierge is limited to those two roles because it speaks to the public for you.
- The concierge is switched on for your brand. Where it is not, the page tells you and offers to put you in touch.
- You have the ten questions your buyers actually ask. Take them from your inbox rather than from imagination, because the real ones are duller and more specific.

1. ## Create a widget for the brand

Open the concierge builder and select **Create widget**.

**Note:** One widget can cover a whole brand or a single event. Start with the brand, because a buyer who lands on the wrong event still gets an answer.
2. ## Enter what the concierge should know

Select **+ Add a topic** for each question your buyers ask, and enter the answer you would give them yourself.

**Note:** Enter the answer you would send at two in the morning, not the one from your terms page. Door times, age limits, bag rules and refunds earn their place first.

3. ## Preview it before anyone else sees it

Save the widget and select **Open preview**.

**Note:** Ask it your three hardest questions. An answer that is confidently wrong is worse than no concierge, and the fix is another entry.
4. ## Put it on your site

Copy the widget snippet into your own site where buyers reach it before they buy.

**Note:** The event page and the ticket page earn it. A contact page reaches only the people who already gave up.

## Or have it done for you

Fai can open the concierge builder for you. What the concierge knows is yours to enter and yours to keep current.

### In your dashboard, with Fai

Open the concierge widgets for \<BRAND NAME\>

### From your own assistant, over MCP

Connect your assistant to [our MCP server](https://www.ticketfairy.com/mcp-server) and ask it:

Keep `--read-only` in your MCP configuration. This task only reads data, so your assistant does not need tools that make changes.

Pick the brand \<BRAND NAME\> and show its events

## From your terminal

Install the CLI from [our CLI page](https://www.ticketfairy.com/cli), sign in with `ticketfairy auth login`, and choose the brand you are working on with `ticketfairy brand use <BRAND_ID>`. `ticketfairy brand list` and `ticketfairy event list` show the IDs the other commands use.

The concierge is built in the dashboard.

## Keep it current as the event changes

1. ### Update the entries when the facts move

Change the entry the same day a door time, an age limit or a lineup changes.

**Note:** A concierge repeating last month's door time costs you more than the question ever did. Treat the entries as part of the event, not as setup.

Fai can open the widget so you can update what it knows.

## Questions you might have

What happens when it does not know an answer?: It says so rather than inventing one. That is the behaviour you want, and the signal that the question deserves an entry.

Does it know my ticket prices and dates?: It works from your events and from the entries you add. Facts that live nowhere but in your head belong in an entry.

Can I have one per event?: Yes. Give a festival with its own rules its own widget, and let the brand widget answer for everything else.
