Understanding your event reports

# See which team members sell your tickets

Use the brand Promoters report to compare every team member's referred visits and credited sales across all your events, then act on who to move onto the brand team, who is rising, who is slowing down and who never shared a link.

For: Deciding who to back, who to promote and who to nudge on your team

Takes: 9 minutes

## Your Promoters page

- [Start with the whole team](#step-1)
- [Act on what stands out](#step-2)
- [Open a team member](#step-3)
- [Narrow the report to a period or a group of events](#step-4)

## Before you start

- You have an owner or admin login for the brand, the same roles that can open the **Team** page.
- At least one team member has shared their promoter link, or at least one order has been credited to a team member. Every team role counts, including door staff and people who have since left the team.

- ## Start with the whole team

Open your brand and go to **Promoters**. The report starts with **All events** and **All time**, so the four figures at the top add up every team member across every event under the brand: how many people are or were on the team, the tickets and revenue that came through their links, and the visits they referred. Below them, **What stands out** lists the insights and **Team members** ranks everyone by tickets.

**Note:** A sale counts for a team member when the buyer arrived through that person's promoter link and the person was on the brand, event or tour team when the order was placed. This is the same crediting as each event's **Sales by Promoter** tab, added up across the brand. Tracking links measure a channel rather than a person and are not included here. Revenue is shown in your brand's home currency, with sales in other currencies converted; the exact amount in each currency is listed beside it.

- ## Act on what stands out

Read **What stands out** from the top. Each insight names the people behind it and shows the figures it rests on. **Ready for the brand team** lists people who are only on individual event teams but have sold on two or more of your events; select **Add to the brand team** to open the Team page and invite them, so every new event reaches them without another invitation. **On the rise** and **Slowing down** compare the last 90 days with the 90 days before. **Has not shared a link yet** lists current members with no visits and no sales. **A recent seller has left the team** shows people who sold in the last 90 days and have since left. **Sales depend on a few people** warns you when three members bring in most of the tickets. Select a name to open that person, or select **Ask Fai about this** to have Fai weigh the report up for you.

**Note:** The insights are calculated from the same figures as the table, so nothing appears in one that you cannot check in the other. When the whole team sold nothing in the last 90 days, nobody is marked as slowing down: a brand between seasons is quiet, not in decline.

- ## Open a team member

Select a row in **Team members**, or a name in an insight, to open that person. The section shows their visits, tickets, revenue and conversion rate for the period, then **Team history**: every brand, event or tour team they hold or held, with the role, when they joined and, where it applies, when they were removed. **Results by event** splits their visits and sales by event and says whether they are on that event's team. Use **Open the Team page** when you decide to change their role.

**Note:** A person who is only on event teams and has sold on two or more of your events gets a hint here that the brand team would reach them automatically. A team member whose account has been removed still appears, with their sales but without a name or email.

- ## Narrow the report to a period or a group of events

Use **Time period** to switch between all time and the last 30, 90 or 365 days. Use **Show team results for** to keep the whole brand or narrow it to **An event series**, **Specific events**, **One venue**, **Events in a city** or **Events in a country**. These are the same choices as the brand **Geographics** report, so a comparison of the two pages covers the same events. Above the table, the **Show members who are** choices keep only the brand team, only people on event teams, or only people no longer on the team.

**Note:** The period changes the visits and sales you see. The rising and slowing signals always compare the last 90 days with the 90 before, whatever period you choose. A member with no results in the chosen period stays in the table with zeros, so you can still see who was on the team.

## Or have it done for you

Ask Fai to read the brand Promoters report for you. She can name the people behind each insight, compare two team members, narrow the report to a period or a group of events, and, with your confirmation, invite the person she recommends to the brand team.

## Questions you might have

Which people appear in this report?: Everyone who holds or has held a team role on the brand, on one of its events or on a tour that includes one of its events, with any role, plus anyone whose team role was removed after orders had been credited to them. Members added through a collective are reported on the Collectives page instead. The **Team status** column separates the brand team, people on event teams only, and people no longer on the team.

Why does a team member with the Door Staff or Stats role have sales?: A sale is credited to whoever's promoter link the buyer arrived through, as long as that person was on the team when the order was placed. The role does not change this, so a door staff member who shared their link is credited in the same way as a promoter.

Why are the tickets here different from the Sales by Promoter tab on one event?: This report counts tickets and revenue the same way: one for each ticket a buyer still holds, so a refunded or resold ticket leaves both figures, and the revenue includes paid guests on a table booking and takes off a part refund the buyer took while keeping their ticket. It adds up every event under the brand for the period you chose and keeps people who have since left the team, whom the event tab no longer lists. Open one event and use its **Sales by Promoter** tab when you want a single event's breakdown by ticket type or date.

What does Ready for the brand team mean?: The person is only on individual event teams but has sold tickets on at least two of your events. Adding them to the brand team on the Team page gives them every new event automatically, so you do not need to invite them to each new event.

How does the report decide who is rising or slowing down?: It compares each person's tickets in the last 90 days with the 90 days before. A team member who sold at least five tickets recently and at least half as many again as before is on the rise. A team member who sold at least five tickets in the earlier period and half or fewer recently, while the rest of the team kept selling, is slowing down.

Why does a former team member have recent sales?: The sales were credited while the person was still on the team; once their team row is removed, their link no longer credits them. A recent seller who has since left is worth a second look: if the parting was not deliberate, invite them back from the Team page.

My events sell in more than one currency. Which currency does the report use?: Revenue is shown in your brand's home currency, taken from the brand's country, with sales in other currencies converted at the newest exchange rate the platform holds. Use the currency choice next to the time period to see every figure in any currency your events have sold in instead. The exact amount in each currency is always listed beside the converted figure, and a currency with no exchange rate is named rather than added in.

Are tracking links included?: No. A tracking link measures a placement, such as a post or a poster, and belongs to nobody, so its sales appear on the event's **Tracking Links** page. This report is about people, and counts the orders credited to each team member.

Can Fai read this report and invite a team member for me?: Yes. Ask in ordinary language. Fai reads the same figures and insights, can narrow them to a period or a group of events, and can compare two team members. When you agree with her recommendation, she invites the person to the brand team after you confirm.
