Running the production
See why tickets and passes were refused at the door
Door and security managers need to know why people were turned away: a flood of tickets shown again after check-in usually means shared screenshots, and one busy entrance refusing passes for the wrong zone means a sign or a briefing is wrong. The refused scans report answers both while the doors are still open.
Count every scan your door scanners and staff gates refused, by reason, entrance, hour and ticket or pass type, on the Check-in page. Spot shared screenshots of tickets and doors turning people away, then open each refused scan to see who it was.

Note: The counts are at most a minute old and say when they were counted.
A ticket shown again after check-in
Shown again after check-in counts tickets scanned again when they were already in and the ticket type does not allow re-entry. Many of them at different entrances in a short time usually means a ticket was shared as a screenshot.

Questions you might have
- Why is a scan missing from the report?
- A code the platform does not know, and a ticket for another event, are not stored against your event, so they cannot be counted here. The report says so under its counts.
- Is looking at the list recorded?
- Yes. The list names ticket holders, so each time you open it, your name is recorded against it.
- Why can I not see the Refused scans tab?
- It shows for brands with the Event Operating System, and not for team members limited to event statistics.
- Can I let a refused person in from here?
- No. The report only reads what happened. Let a refused ticket in with the door scanner, or a pass at a staff gate with a supervisor's link.
