# Sell tickets with one ad campaign on several networks

One campaign for your event runs on every network you have connected, with one budget split between them. You see what it can cost before anything is spent.

Fai, your AI teammate, can check sales, update your event or change a ticket when you ask.

Takes:  10 minutes

- [Start a new campaign](#step-1)
- [Choose the goal and the event](#step-2)
- [Pick the networks](#step-3)
- [Set the budget and dates](#step-4)
- [Make the ad](#step-5)
- [Check the cost, then launch](#step-6)
- [Confirm the launch](#step-7)
- [Check that each network started](#step-8)

## Before you start

- Advertising campaign management and reporting are available only to Ticket Fairy staff while network API approvals are pending.
- Connect at least one network under **Connected networks**. You can connect the others from inside the campaign.
- You can build and launch campaigns with an owner, admin or marketing role on the brand.

1. ## Start a new campaign

   Open the brand, select **Campaigns** under advertising, then select **New campaign**.

   **Note:** The campaign is saved as a draft as soon as you move past the first step. To finish it later, open it from **Campaigns**; it opens at the first step you have not finished.

   *Advertising, Campaigns, New campaign: the Goal step.*
2. ## Choose the goal and the event

   Select a goal, such as **Sell tickets**, then choose the event under **Which event is this for?** and select **Next**.

   **Note:** Select **More goals** for awareness, traffic and engagement. With an event chosen, the ads send people to its event page and the campaign is named after it.
3. ## Pick the networks

   Select each network the campaign should run on, then select **Next**.

   **Note:** Each network shows the smallest daily budget it accepts, in US dollars. A network marked **Connect to use** opens its sign-in before you can pick it.

   ![The Networks step listing Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Spotify, Reddit and ChatGPT, each with its minimum daily budget](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-ads-builder--networks.png)
   *The Networks step.*
4. ## Set the budget and dates

   Enter the **Budget**, choose **Per day** or **Total**, then add a start and an end date if you want them and select **Next**.

   **Note:** A total budget needs an end date. The budget starts in your brand's currency and is split evenly between the networks; under **Where to show your ads**, add countries to reach fans who travel.

   ![The Budget step with the budget, currency, per day or total, start and end dates and the countries to show the ads in](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-ads-builder--budget.png)
   *The Budget step.*
5. ## Make the ad

   Select an ad under **Use an ad you made before**, or enter one under **Or make a new ad** with its **Picture or video** and select **Save this ad**, then select **Next**.

   **Note:** Select **Draft ad copy with Fai** to get headlines and ad text for the event. Pictures and videos come from your marketing files; select **Add pictures or videos** to add more.

   *The Your ad step, with pictures from the marketing files.*
6. ## Check the cost, then launch

   Check the campaign under **Review**, then select the launch button, which states the most it can spend.

   **Note:** To start on a later date, select **Schedule** instead, choose the day under **Start on** and select **Confirm schedule**. Select **Adjust the split** to give one network more of the budget.

   *The Review step, with what the campaign can cost.*
7. ## Confirm the launch

   In **Launch this campaign?**, select the button that starts with **Launch**.

   **Note:** For a large budget, tick **I've checked the budget is correct** first. A scheduled campaign asks the same way: select **Confirm schedule** again.

   *The launch confirmation, with what the campaign can spend.*
8. ## Check that each network started

   Read the status of each network on the **Networks** tab, which opens after you launch.

   **Note:** A network that started shows **Running**. A network that could not start says why, and you can change the ad there and try again.

## Or have it done for you

Fai can build the campaign and its ad, show you what it can cost and launch or schedule it once you confirm.

### In your dashboard, with Fai

```
Create an ad campaign to sell tickets for <EVENT NAME> on Meta and TikTok with a daily budget of <AMOUNT>, show me what it can cost, and launch it only after I confirm
```

## Change a running campaign

1. ### Change the budget or end date

   Open the campaign's **Settings** tab, change the budget or the end date and select **Save**.

   **Note:** The networks get the change straight away. The field is **Daily budget** or **Total budget**, as the campaign was set up.

   *A running campaign's Settings tab.*
2. ### Confirm a bigger budget or a longer run

   Select **Raise budget** or **Keep spending** when you are asked.

   **Note:** Lowering the budget or ending the campaign sooner is saved without a question.

   *The question before a running campaign spends more.*
3. ### Pause the campaign

   Select **Pause**, then **Pause** again in **Pause this campaign?**.

   **Note:** Your ads stop on every network. To start them again, select **Resume**, then **Resume** again to confirm.

   ![The Pause this campaign? confirmation saying the ads stop on every network, with Cancel and Pause](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-ads-builder--confirm-pause.png)
   *The pause confirmation.*
4. ### See who changed the campaign

   Open the campaign's **History** tab.

   **Note:** Each change of the campaign or one of its networks is listed with who made it and when, newest first.

Fai can change the budget or end date of a running campaign, pause it or resume it and tell you who changed it. She confirms with you before more is spent.

### In your dashboard, with Fai

```
Raise the daily budget of my <CAMPAIGN NAME> campaign to <AMOUNT>, and confirm with me before you save it
```

## Questions you might have

**How is the budget split between the networks?**

 Evenly, unless you change it. Select **Adjust the split** on the Review step, or on the campaign's **Networks** tab, to give one network a bigger share. The total stays the same.

**What happens if a network turns my ad down?**

 The other networks keep running. The campaign's **Networks** tab says why that network could not start, and you can change the ad there and try again.

**What if a teammate changes the campaign while I am editing it?**

 In a draft, you are asked to choose: **Load their version** shows what they changed, and **Keep my changes** replaces their changes at your next save. On a running campaign's **Settings** tab, your save stops and their version loads, so you can make your change again.

**Do people who already bought a ticket still see the ads?**

 Not when the campaign is for an event. **Skip people who already bought** is on by default on the Goal step, so the networks that support it leave those people out.

**Can I delete a campaign?**

 You can delete a draft. A campaign that has run can only be archived, so its results stay; select **Restore** to bring it back.
