# Show your sponsors on your tickets and event page

Festivals, promoters and venues promise their sponsors a place in front of every ticket holder. Your sponsors' logos can go on every PDF ticket and on your event page, and each logo opens that sponsor's website. You keep one list of sponsors for the event and decide where each one shows, so a presenting partner can be everywhere and a VIP partner only on VIP tickets.

Add your event's sponsors with their logos and websites, choose whether each one shows on your PDF tickets, on your event page or both, put them in order, and give a VIP ticket type sponsors of its own.

For: Promoters, festivals and venues with sponsors to show on tickets and the event page

Takes: 6 minutes

- [Open Sponsors](#step-1)
- [Start a new sponsor](#step-2)
- [Enter the sponsor's name](#step-3)
- [Add the logo](#step-4)
- [Enter the sponsor's website](#step-5)
- [Choose the sponsor's tier](#step-6)
- [Choose where the sponsor shows](#step-7)
- [Add the sponsor](#step-8)
- [Put your sponsors in order](#step-9)
- [Show the sponsors on your tickets](#step-10)
- [Give a ticket type its own sponsors](#step-11)
- [Check your event page](#step-12)

## Before you start

- You're an owner, an admin or on the marketing team of the event. Ticket Fairy support can also open the Sponsors page when helping you.
- You have each sponsor's logo as a PNG, JPG, GIF or SVG file, or its web address, and the address of each sponsor's website.

1. ## Open Sponsors

Open your event, then select **Sponsors** under **Marketing**. The page lists **Your sponsors** in the order your tickets and event page show them.
![Ticket Fairy Sponsors page with five sponsors, their On tickets and On the event page switches, and a VIP Weekend ticket type with its own sponsors](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-event-sponsors--page.png) Event, Marketing, Sponsors.
2. ## Start a new sponsor

Select **Add a sponsor**. The **Add a sponsor** window opens with the sponsor's details and where it shows.
![Ticket Fairy sponsor window filled in for Stellar Lager, with its Name, Logo, Website, Tier and the On tickets and On the event page switches](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-event-sponsors--edit-dialog.png) Event, Marketing, Sponsors, Edit.
3. ## Enter the sponsor's name

Enter the sponsor's **Name**, as buyers know it.
4. ## Add the logo

Under **Logo**, upload the sponsor's logo file, or enter the logo's web address in the box under the uploader.
5. ## Enter the sponsor's website

Enter the sponsor's **Website**, for example stellarlager.com. Buyers who tap the logo on a ticket or on the event page open this website.
6. ## Choose the sponsor's tier

Choose a **Tier**, such as **Presenting sponsor**, **Gold** or **Media partner**. Your team sees the tier next to the sponsor on this page and in **Operations**.
7. ## Choose where the sponsor shows

Under **Where it shows**, turn **On tickets** and **On the event page** on or off. A new sponsor starts with both turned on.
8. ## Add the sponsor

Select **Add sponsor**. The sponsor goes to the end of your list.
9. ## Put your sponsors in order

Select **Move up** or **Move down** on a sponsor. Each move saves straight away, and your tickets and event page show the sponsors in the new order.
10. ## Show the sponsors on your tickets

In your ticket design, select the **Sponsor logos** block, then choose **This event's sponsors** under **Which logos to show**. Every event that uses the design then shows its own sponsors on its tickets.

**Note:** The **Festival** and **Partner showcase** starting designs already show the event's sponsors. **Open Ticket Designs** under your list opens your designs.
11. ## Give a ticket type its own sponsors

Select **Different sponsors on some ticket types**, then choose **Choose sponsors** beside the ticket type and pick its sponsors under **Sponsors on these tickets**. Each choice saves straight away.

**Note:** **Same as the event** shows the sponsors you turned on for tickets, and **No sponsors** leaves that ticket type's tickets without sponsors.
12. ## Check your event page

Open your event page. Your sponsors' logos show in a Sponsors section near the end of the page, and the list of sections at the top of the page links to it.

She shows you each change and asks you to approve it before saving. Upload logo files in the dashboard, or give Fai their web addresses, because Fai cannot upload files.

### In your dashboard, with Fai

On \<EVENT NAME\>, add \<SPONSOR NAME\> as a sponsor with the logo at \<LOGO ADDRESS\> and the website \<WEBSITE\>, and show it on tickets and on the event page. Show me the change before you save it

## Show your sponsors on your event website

1. ### Choose a Sponsors section

In your website, select a **Sponsors** section, or add one with **Add a section**.
![Ticket Fairy Website Builder with a Sponsors section selected and Where the sponsors come from showing the event's sponsors](https://www.ticketfairy.com/embeds/posters/marketing-website-builder--sponsors-source.png) Website, Sponsors section.
2. ### Show the event's sponsors

Under **Where the sponsors come from**, choose the event in **Choose an event**, then select **Show this event's sponsors**. The section shows the sponsors you turned on for the event page, in your order.

**Note:** Publish your website changes once for the section to go live. After that, your live website follows every change you make on the Sponsors page.

Fai can set a Sponsors section on your website to show an event's sponsors once you approve the change.

### In your dashboard, with Fai

On my \<WEBSITE NAME\> website, make the Sponsors section on the \<PAGE NAME\> page show the sponsors of \<EVENT NAME\>

## Change where a sponsor shows

On **Sponsors**, turn **On tickets** or **On the event page** on or off in the sponsor's row. Each switch saves straight away.

Fai can turn a sponsor on or off for tickets or the event page once you approve the change.

### In your dashboard, with Fai

On \<EVENT NAME\>, stop showing \<SPONSOR NAME\> on the event page and keep it on the tickets

## Change a sponsor's details

On **Sponsors**, select **Edit** on the sponsor, change its details, then select **Save sponsor**.

**Note:** If a teammate changed the sponsor first, choose **Load their changes** or **Save my changes anyway**.

Fai can change a sponsor's name, logo address, website and tier once you approve the change.

### In your dashboard, with Fai

On \<EVENT NAME\>, change the website of \<SPONSOR NAME\> to \<WEBSITE\>

## Remove a sponsor

On **Sponsors**, select **Remove** on the sponsor, then **Remove sponsor**. The sponsor no longer shows on your tickets or event page, and it also leaves the **Sponsors** tab in **Operations**.

Fai can remove a sponsor once you approve it.

### In your dashboard, with Fai

Remove \<SPONSOR NAME\> from the sponsors of \<EVENT NAME\>

## Questions you might have

Why does a sponsor not show anywhere?: Its deal is marked as declined or lapsed on the **Sponsors** tab in **Operations**, and the Sponsors page says so under its name. Change the sponsor's status there, and it shows again wherever you turned it on.

Why do my sponsors not show on my tickets?: Your tickets show the event's sponsors when their ticket design has a **Sponsor logos** block set to **This event's sponsors**. The standard Ticket Fairy ticket has no sponsor logos, so choose a design for the event first.

How many sponsors can show?: Up to 100 for each event. Your tickets and event page use the first 100 sponsors in your list, so move a sponsor higher in the list to show it.

Why does a sponsor show on my VIP tickets when On tickets is off?: You chose it for that ticket type under **Different sponsors on some ticket types**. A sponsor you choose for a ticket type shows on that ticket type's tickets whatever its **On tickets** switch says.

What shows for a sponsor without a logo?: Its name, in the place where the logo would be, and the name still opens the sponsor's website. When the Sponsors page shows a name where you expect a logo, select **Edit** on the sponsor and add the logo.

Are these the same sponsors as the Sponsors tab in Operations?: Yes. Both show the same sponsors, so a sponsor you add, change or remove here changes there too, and the reverse. The deal itself, such as its status, the cash amount and the contact, stays on the **Sponsors** tab.

Do tickets already sold show my changes?: Yes, when they are downloaded or resent. A ticket PDF is made each time a buyer or your team downloads it, so it shows the sponsors at that moment. A PDF already attached to an email keeps the sponsors it was sent with.
