Buying tickets

Buy tickets to an event

You buy tickets on the event's own page. It takes a few minutes, and you do not need an account first.

  1. Choose your tickets

On the event page, select Select beside the ticket type you want, then use + and - to set how many. Prices include fees where the page says incl. fees.

Note: Most events let you buy up to 10 tickets in one order.

  2. Go to checkout

Select the button under the tickets, for example Get 1 Ticket. We hold your tickets for 10 minutes while you check out.

Note: If the time runs out, the page says your cart has expired and takes you back to the event page to start again.

  3. Enter your details

Enter your name and email address, then enter the email address again to confirm it. Start typing your address and choose it from the list, or select Enter address manually. Where the event asks for them, enter the name of each person going.

Warning: Check your email address carefully. It is where we send your tickets.

Checkout with the name, email address, phone number and address fields
  4. Pay

Choose how to pay and enter your card details, or use Apple Pay, Google Pay or another way shown. Select the box to agree to the terms of sale, then select Submit Payment.

Note: Free tickets have Complete Registration instead, with no payment.

  5. Check your confirmation

The page says Your tickets are confirmed!. We email your confirmation with your tickets attached. Select View your order to see them now.

Questions you might have

Do I need an account to buy?
No. Checking out sets up an account for your email address. Log in later with a code we email you to manage your tickets.
Why does a ticket say Tickets in Carts?
Other people are holding the last tickets while they check out. Refresh the page in a few minutes: tickets they do not buy come back on sale.
Why can I only choose one ticket type?
Some events allow one ticket type per order. Place a second order for another type.
What will I see on my bank statement?
A short form of the event's name, often with Tkts after it. Add-ons bought later can show Addons instead. Contact our support team if you do not recognise a charge.
Is there a limit on how many tickets I can buy?
Yes, the organiser sets one. The page tells you the most you can buy when you choose more.

Still need help?

Ask our assistant about your order. If it cannot sort it out, leave a message and our support team replies by email.
