# Log in to your Ticket Fairy account

Your account holds every ticket you bought with its email address. You need to log in to sell, refund, give away or add to a ticket.

1. ## Enter your email address

   Select **Log In** at the top of any page. Enter the email address you bought your tickets with, then select **Send Verification Code**.

2. ## Enter the code from your email

   We email you a 6-digit code. Enter it, then select **Log in with verification code**.

   **Note:** The code works for 10 minutes. Select **Request a new code** if it has expired.

## Other ways to log in

You can also select **Log in with password**, **Sign in with a passkey**, or **Log in with Facebook** if you set one of those up. If you turned on sign-in protection, we then ask for your second step.

3. ## Create an account if you have never bought a ticket

   Select **create an account now** at the bottom of the log in page. Enter your details, select the privacy policy box, then select **Create a Ticket Fairy account**.

   **Note:** Buying a ticket sets up an account for your email address. If the page asks you to log in to your existing account, log in with a code instead.

## Questions you might have

I did not get the code.:  Check your spam or junk folder, and check that you entered the email address you bought with. We send a code only when an account exists for that address.

My account is locked.:  After too many wrong passwords we lock the account for an hour. Wait an hour, or log in with a code instead.

I bought with a different email address.:  Log in with that address. Each order belongs to the email address it was bought with.

How do I make my account more secure?:  Open **Account**, then **Security**, and add a passkey or an authenticator app under **Sign-in protection**.
