# Use a promo code

A promo code from the organiser can lower the price or show tickets that are otherwise hidden. You use one code per order.

1. ## Open the promo code box

   On the event page, select **Got a promo code? Click here** under the tickets.
2. ## Enter the code

   Enter the code in **Promo Code** and select **Apply**. The page says the code was applied and shows the new prices or the tickets it unlocks.

3. ## Or enter it at checkout

   Checkout has its own **Promo Code** field in the order summary. Enter the code and select **Apply**.

## Questions you might have

My code does not work.:  Codes are for one event, can run out, and can be limited to certain tickets or email addresses. Check the code with whoever gave it to you. Codes are up to 25 characters long.

Can I use two codes?:  No. One code applies per order, and a new code replaces the old one.

The page asks for an access code. What is that?:  Some events sell tickets only to people with a code. Enter the code you were given in **Enter your access code** to see the tickets.

I forgot to add my code. Can I get the discount now?:  A code cannot be added after you pay. Ask the organiser through our support team.
