We have compiled a list of music from various styles, genre no bar. Keep watching this space for your weekly dose of fresh music! ### Silk Sonic – An Evening with Silk Sonic \[Album\] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xneVB7MW3RA A perfect revisit back to the golden sound of 1970’s soul music, the supergroup that is [Silk Sonic](https://www.instagram.com/silksonic/) comprising of [Bruno Mars](https://www.instagram.com/brunomars/) and [Anderson .Paak](https://www.instagram.com/anderson._paak/) launched their debut album ‘An Evening with Silk Sonic’. Having teased the world with their first single ‘[Leave The Door Open](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adLGHcj_fmA)’ back in March 2021, the duo hyped it up by performing it at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards a few days later, leaving everyone anticipating this amazing collaboration. Some of the top songs on the album are – ‘[After Last Night](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cy_tDQPXHk)’ (with [Thundercat](https://www.instagram.com/thundercatmusic/) & [Bootsy](https://www.instagram.com/bootsy_collins/)), ‘[Put On A Smile](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xneVB7MW3RA)’, ‘[Fly as Me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YjtzeNaScc)’, although we do recommend that you listen to the album from top to bottom in the prescribed order. ### Dohnraj – beauty and bullshit \[Album\] [Dohnraj - all is all that's all](https://www.youtube.com/embed/Le1VnuNPhN4?feature=oembed) Bringing back the new wave sound of some of his inspirations like [David Bowie](https://www.instagram.com/davidbowie/), [Prince](https://www.instagram.com/prince/), [The Cure](https://www.instagram.com/thecure/), [Talking Heads](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talking_Heads) and the likes, Delhi-based singer-songwriter [Dohnraj](https://www.instagram.com/dohnraj/) dropped his first 10-song full length album via [Export Quality Records](https://www.instagram.com/exportquality_records/). Sonically, he’s got that vintage tonality extremely accurate with the instrumentation, melodies and those typical percussion bits which get you grooving on those air-congas as soon as you hear them. He’s combined those elements with the new wave of indie sound that’s popular today, also doing the mix + master by himself, assuring the perfect combination of vintage grit and pretty sounding synths and orchestrations. ### Jinjer – Disclosure \[Music Video\] [JINJER - Disclosure! (Official Video) | Napalm Records](https://www.youtube.com/embed/OhxisV58nJw?feature=oembed) Progressive metal band [Jinjer](https://www.instagram.com/jinjer_official/) just dropped a music video for their song ‘Disclosure’ from their album ‘Wallflowers’ which was released earlier in August this year. The video starts off with notorious vocalist [Tatiana Shmailyuk](https://www.instagram.com/tati_booyakah/) being interrogated by a police officer in a typical grinding session, as the tables suddenly turn and the roles are reversed with the gun in her hands and the officer in cuffs. Lyrically, the song hits on the sly and underhanded practices that are commonplace with twisted law enforcement all over the world. The video ends with the band kidnapping the interrogating officer and tying him to a chair in a garbage disposal field, leaving him a gun with which he inevitably shoots himself, after whispering a ‘thank you’. ### Silverstein – It’s Over \[Single\] [Silverstein - It's Over \[Official Music Video\]](https://www.youtube.com/embed/RrBjciRdPVQ?feature=oembed) Canadian band [Silverstien](https://www.instagram.com/silverstein/) dropped a new single ‘It’s Over’, switching back to their emo roots with some post-hardcore heaviness, this song comes after their last single ‘Bankrupt’ from April earlier this year. The song addresses anxiety, and guitar player [Paul Marc Rousseau](https://www.instagram.com/paulmarcrousseau/) explains in a press statement – “This song is the spiral that leads to giving up. Those anxiety-packed hours where you can’t feel anything but the low, steady crescendo of panic that eventually gets so intense that your fingertips lose sensation.” ### Pendulum – Nothing For Free (Kove Remix) \[Single\] [Pendulum - Nothing For Free (Kove Remix)](https://www.youtube.com/embed/7gmKJMTr5bA?feature=oembed) There’s some seriously good Drum & Bass to cover this week and it starts with [Kove](https://www.instagram.com/koveofficial/)’s second tune of the month. Following his ‘Sweet Music’ release on Drum&BassArena, the eclectic producer has flipped ‘Pendulum’  ‘Nothing For Free’ on its head and turned it a proper euphoric festival banger. That’s the beauty of Kove’s music; when he does it, he does it nearly better than anybody. Absolute champion of dance-floor champion. ### Visages & Kyrist – Mirai \[Single\] [Visages & Kyrist - Mirai](https://www.youtube.com/embed/BVdC2OlKNjA?start=100&feature=oembed) The second stunning Drum & Bass release this week comes from [Visages](https://www.instagram.com/visages.music/) and [Kyrist](https://www.instagram.com/kyrist_/). Not sure how many saw this collaboration coming together but here we are. The French dons from Toulouse have teamed up with the queen of tech-fuelled Drum & Bass for a pounding deep roller that brings Visages’ synth work together with Kyrist’s low-end rolling sounds. ### Circumference – SEE \[Single\] [Circumference - SEE](https://www.youtube.com/embed/ab4rz24l90c?feature=oembed) Drum & Bass exhibit number 3 of the week courtesy the Bristol-based, [Circumference](https://www.instagram.com/circumference_dnb/), a duo that came to life last year when Freshney and Kit Jones came together to make music. For their first EP on Soulvent Records, our pick is the experimental number ‘SEE’ which invites the listener to delve into a soul-stirring journey with its shimmering rhythms and broken beat patterns. ### RITA BASS – Shaped Curve (Ciel’s Deja-vu Dub Mix) \[Single\] [PREMIERE: RITA BASS - Shaped Curve (Ciel's Deja-vu Dub Mix) \[56K Records\]](https://www.youtube.com/embed/EO0HozxT6Co?feature=oembed) RITA BASS’s debut double single gets a dubby treatment from Toronto-based producer [Ciel](https://www.instagram.com/ciel_dj/), who has previously released her music on Shanti Celeste’s Peach Discs and co-runs her own Parallel Minds imprint in gives the original’s pop aesthetics a delicious UKG flavours tagged along with flickers of IDM to make it the perfect sundowner tune. ### K-LONE – Deluxe \[Single\] [K-LONE - Deluxe \[Wisdom Teeth\]](https://www.youtube.com/embed/5iXSTdf3y-s?feature=oembed) London-based Wisdom Teeth are closing their year with a 4-track EP from the label’s head honchos [Facta](https://www.instagram.com/factamusic/) and [K-LONE](https://www.instagram.com/k_lone_/). Our pick from the 4 tracker is Deluxe, a luscious 2-stepper that takes us back to the imperious days of the early Tempa sound.
