I’m so ready. Let’s fking gooooo.” Kyrist’s first stop in New Zealand sees her take the stage in the nation’s capital, flanked by some of the finest hands on deck as well as the evening’s host, MC Young Ghost. She is someone I have looked up to since before I started mixing in 2016. It’s still not something we see here very often so we are making great steps and moves – even cooler that it is the darker side of dnb. I’ve been really enjoying switching things up across tempos and genres so expect some of that, just mad keen to get amongst it with the Welly crew once again, really.” Hound also dished out words of praise for Kyrist, saying, “It’s super exciting to be on the bill for Kyrist’s Aotearoa debut.
