Show your traders in a directory on your website
Festival and market goers want to know who is selling what before they arrive: the vegan street food, the coffee roaster, the craft stalls. A trader directory lets each approved trader describe what they sell, you check every listing, and your website shows the list without you retyping a word of it.
Publish a public list of the food, drink and market traders at your event, check each trader's listing before it goes up, ask a trader to change it, choose how the list looks, and put it on your own website with the embed code.

Før du starter
- You are an owner, admin or producer on the event. The event's Operations page opens for those roles only.
- The traders are approved, as in the guide to taking trader applications. Only approved traders can be in the directory.

Open the directory
Open the event, select Operations, select Traders in the list of sections, then select Directory.
Merk: A trader sends their listing from their own trader page with Send for review, and it waits under Listings to review. If Traders is not in the list, select More sections and open it there.

Open a listing
Select a trader to open their listing, with what the public sees and its history.
Merk: The listing holds only the Name in the directory, What they sell, Kind of trader, Words people can filter by, Website and Instagram. Contact names, emails and phone numbers never go into the directory.

Change the listing if you need to
Optional: change any of the fields, then select Save listing.
Merk: Add up to 6 words people can filter by, separated by commas, such as Vegan, Coffee or Gluten free. Enter the Instagram name only, for example @bestcoffee.

Publish the listing
Select Publish. The trader shows in the directory straight away as In the directory.
Merk: Publish is there only for a trader you approved. If the trader changes a published listing, people keep seeing the published one until you publish the change.

Ask the trader for changes
Optional: select Ask for changes, enter What should the trader change?, then select Ask for changes.
Merk: With Email the trader on, the trader gets an email, and their trader page shows what you asked. The listing shows Changes asked for until they send it again.

Choose how the directory looks
Close the listing, select Directory settings, make your choices, then select Save.

Put the directory on your website
Select Copy embed code, then paste the code into the page of your website where the list goes.
Merk: The same code is on the event's Embeds page, under Trader directory. The list on your website shows every trader you publish, with no code change.

Check the public directory
Select Preview the directory. The directory opens in a new tab with each published trader, and people can filter it by kind of trader and by the words you added.
Merk: The directory shows 24 traders at a time and is live from your first published listing.

Hide the listing
Open the trader's listing, select Hide from the directory, then confirm.
Merk: People stop seeing the trader at once. Select Publish to show them again.
Fai takes a trader's listing out of the directory after you confirm.

- Where does a trader enter their listing?
- On their own trader page, under Your listing in the trader directory. It starts with the business name, kind and website from their application, and they select Send for review when it is ready.
- Can I add a listing for a trader myself?
- Yes. Open the trader under Not in the directory, enter the Name in the directory and the rest, select Save listing, then select Publish.
- Why can I not publish a listing?
- The trader is not approved yet, or the listing has no name. Approve the trader in the Applications view, and enter the Name in the directory first.
- What happens to the listing if I cancel or decline a trader?
- The trader leaves the public directory at once, because it lists only traders who are trading at your event. If you approve them again, their published listing shows again.
- Does the directory show a trader's phone number or email?
- No. A listing holds only the name, what they sell, the kind of trader, the filter words, a website and an Instagram name, so contact details never reach the public page.
- Who can see the Directory view?
- The event's owners, admins and producers, who can also change, publish or hide a listing.
