The much-loved celebration of fashion is a charity event that is considered a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute and raises eight-figure sums year after year. The theme for this year’s MET Gala is “Gilded Glamour” which according to *ELLE*is “[intended](https://www.elle.com/fashion/celebrity-style/a39491391/met-gala-2022-theme-guests-date-explained/) as an homage to American history, particularly that of the Gilded Age, which ran roughly from 1870 to 1900.” Though not everyone keeps up with the theme, each year the list of attendees who don’t stick to it seems to be getting longer and longer. Just like every year, the MET Gala exhibition this year too was star-studded! It includes familiar faces like actors from the big and small screens, models, artists, etc. We are going to talk about the pop stars and musical artists who showed off their looks today at the MET!
