Established in 2021, In The Lab Recordings focuses on the experimental side of drum & bass. The label marked its first release in January 2021, and since then, they have racked up over a dozen releases from talents like Corrupted Mind, Samath, Vici, and Aaron Payne, to name a few. Now, to mark their 20th release, In The Lab Recordings have released their first various artists compilation called ‘Matter:1’. Encapsulating the label’s ethos of the futuristic and tech-y style of drum & bass, the compilation features artists from 3 different continents. Comprising of 5 tracks, the ‘Matter:1’ compilation features some of the most imperative parts of the label’s growing reputation of delivering fresh and forward thinking drum & bass.
