SAN FRANCISCO and LONDON, 26 AUGUST 2026.

Ticket Fairy today launched a command-line interface (CLI): a tool that lets its ticketing platform be automated by AI assistants and other software. The company says it is the first tool of its kind built for event ticketing in the age of AI agents.

In plain terms, the everyday jobs an event organizer or venue owner would normally do by hand in a ticketing platform, such as creating an event, setting up ticket types, managing guest lists, or downloading a sales report, can now be done automatically, run overnight on a schedule, or handed to an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT.

Why it matters

Clicking through an admin dashboard is the right tool for a one‑off change. It becomes a chore when the same thing has to be done dozens of times, when a report has to be run every morning, or when another system needs to do it automatically.

Busy promoters reach the point where they want to copy last season’s event, set up a hundred ticket types at once, load a long list of discount codes, send each night’s sales into a spreadsheet, or connect Ticket Fairy to the other tools they already use.

The new Ticket Fairy CLI does all of that, and it lets an AI assistant do it too.

Built for AI from the start

Most tools like this are built for developers. Ticket Fairy designed this one for AI agents first. In practice, that means:

  • Reliable results. Answers come back in a clean, predictable form that other software and AI can read every time, not as text meant only for human eyes.
  • Clear when something goes wrong. If a task fails, the tool says so plainly and gives a reference number the organizer can pass to support.
  • Easy for an assistant to use. The tool can explain its own abilities to an AI assistant, so the assistant knows exactly what it is allowed to do.

It connects straight into AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. After a small one‑time setup, an event organizer can simply ask the assistant, in plain English, to do the work, and it carries the request out through the Ticket Fairy platform.

“Event teams should be able to hand their manual work to software, and increasingly to an AI assistant, without handing over the keys. We built this so an assistant can do a full day of operational work for an  event producer or venue manager: safely, only within what they are allowed to do, and with a person approving anything that spends money or reaches a customer.”

Part of Ticket Fairy 3.0

The new tool is the latest addition to Ticket Fairy 3.0, the AI‑powered event operating system that lets events and venues run their whole business in one place instead of piecing together a dozen separate services. Three parts sit at its centre:

  • Fai, an AI co‑pilot that is free to use in the dashboard and can build events, read live sales and handle most everyday tasks, asking for approval before anything sensitive.
  • Vault, banking made for global events, with multi‑currency accounts and expense cards.
  • Capital, funding for events, where eligible businesses can apply for working capital of up to $3 million based on their ticket sales and track record.

The new command line extends all of this to every automated system and AI assistant an event organizer uses.

Availability

The Ticket Fairy CLI is available today, free with any Ticket Fairy account. Technical teams can install it with a single command, and it runs on Mac, Windows and Linux.
