## What will Ticket Fairy cost me to sell tickets?

On Free you pay no monthly fee, and your buyers pay one booking fee on each paid ticket, so you receive your whole ticket price. Paid plans start at $20 a month, with Max at $100, Max 200 at $200 and Business at $500.

The booking fee is the same from Free to Business. In the United States it is: US$2.00 minimum on paid tickets below US$20.00; 10% below US$100.00; 9% from US$100.00 to below US$250.00; 8% from US$250.00. It includes card processing and customer service for your buyers.

Each paid plan includes its own price in Fai usage every month, and Ticket Fairy's fees on your ticket sales come off your next plan bill, up to the full price. Enterprise is priced by agreement for 100,000 or more paid tickets a year or 10 or more brands.

## What if I only sell a handful of tickets?

You can stay on Free. It has no monthly fee, your buyers pay the booking fee only on paid tickets, and free tickets carry no fee.

When you want a paid plan's features, you can move up, and Ticket Fairy's fees on your sales start to cover it from your first paid ticket: Pro is covered from $20 of Ticket Fairy fees in a month, Max from $100, Max 200 from $200 and Business from $500.

## What do my buyers pay on top of the ticket price?

One booking fee, and by default your buyer pays it at checkout, so you receive your whole ticket price. On a $50 ticket in the United States your buyer pays $55 and you receive $50.

You can include the fee in your ticket price instead, event by event, so buyers see one price with nothing added at checkout. Free tickets carry no fee either way.

## Can I add my own booking fee and keep it?

On a paid plan you can add your own booking fee on top of Ticket Fairy's and keep all of it from the first ticket.

Your fee is a percentage and a fixed amount per ticket, set once for your brand and changed for any event. Buyers see one booking fee. Where fees show on top of the price, the whole booking fee is capped at twice the standard fee; where the law asks for one price that includes every fee, you set that one price.

Ticket Fairy's own fee stays the standard fee, so its fees on your sales still cover your plan.

## What do I get without paying a monthly fee?

You can sell, scan and get paid for your tickets on Free, and everything you use free today stays free.

Free includes ticketing, checkout, scanning, the box office, promoters, resale, the Support Inbox and your sales reports, with 3 team members and unlimited door staff and promoters. It also includes $3 of Fai usage a month, 30 Fai chat messages a day and the [Event Operating System](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event-operating-system) on one event at a time.

## What do I get if I pay for a plan?

Every paid plan gets every feature. The plans differ by the Fai usage they include, by brands and by team controls.

Pro adds an unlimited team, websites on your own domains with no Ticket Fairy badge, the Event Operating System on every event, group bookings, the Social Assistant and advanced ads. Max adds Fai taking calls for you and working through tasks while you are busy, with $100 of usage. Max 200 adds priority Fai capacity during on-sales. Business adds three brands with one shared usage balance, approvals and reports across brands and a named success manager.

## How do my ticket sales pay for my plan?

Each calendar month, Ticket Fairy's fees on your paid tickets, net of refunds, come off your next plan bill, up to the plan price.

Pro is covered from $20 of Ticket Fairy fees in a month, Max from $100, Max 200 from $200 and Business from $500. A yearly plan counts up to its yearly price, so one strong month can cover the year. Unused cover does not roll over, usage packs are never covered, and on Business the fees of all your brands count together.

## When does my ticket money reach me?

When you connect your own Stripe or Xendit account, your payouts can be daily, where your country and account support it.

For money Ticket Fairy processes, you are paid after the event, or earlier once your brand passes a risk check. Your plan never changes when you are paid. Early payouts, Vault and Capital each have their own checks, and buying a plan does not give you any of them.

## What else will I pay apart from the booking fee?

Nothing is hidden. The booking fee already covers card processing and customer service for your buyers.

There is no setup fee, no fee on your payouts and no Ticket Fairy fee on your ad spend. Taxes, optional services such as card installments, and charges an event sets up itself, such as a ticket change fee, are shown separately. Usage is prepaid, so you never get a bill after the fact.

## What happens if I go over my plan's limits on on-sale day?

A plan limit never stops a ticket sale, a check-in, a refund or a message to your buyers about their orders.

When your included usage runs out, work such as marketing texts, voice calls and new Concierge chats pauses until you buy a pack of $20, $50 or $100 of usage, by hand or with an automatic top-up you switch on with a monthly ceiling. A Concierge chat that has started always finishes. Unused monthly usage carries over, up to twice your monthly amount.

## Am I locked into a contract, and can I stop?

No contract. A paid plan runs month to month or year to year, paying yearly saves 15%, and you can stop at the end of the period you have paid for.

You sign an agreement only if you choose one: a brand with 5,000 or more paid tickets a year can sell exclusively through Ticket Fairy for one, two or three years in return for locked fees, a better rate and a plan included. The team can talk it through with you.

## Will my plan give me less later?

No. Ticket Fairy never reduces the usage your plan includes while you subscribe to it.

When the cost of AI work falls, Ticket Fairy lowers the price of the work or raises what a plan includes, and says so.

## What do I get when I start a new brand?

When you start a new brand, you get $50 of Fai usage for 90 days with full Pro access, with no card needed.

You can use it to plan your first event before a ticket sells: offers, contracts, advancing and budgets. After the trial, usage is prepaid: you can choose a monthly plan, or buy a pack of $20, $50 or $100 of usage that lasts 12 months, with no subscription.

## How much work is it to move my events over?

You can create a free account and build a test event before you commit, so you see your event selling before you move.

When you are ready, the Ticket Fairy team can set up your events and branding and train your team, timed around your on-sale date.

## Can I use Ticket Fairy if my venue makes me sell on another ticketing site?

Yes. The Event Operating System, Social, websites, the Support Inbox, Concierge and Fai work without Ticket Fairy ticketing, at the list price.

Budgets and settlements in the Event Operating System take the figures you enter. When your contract ends, you can move your ticketing to Ticket Fairy, and Ticket Fairy's fees on your sales can cover your plan from then on.

## Is it cheaper than Eventbrite or DICE?

It depends on your ticket price, so it helps to compare the same ticket. On a $50 ticket your buyer pays $5 in fees on Ticket Fairy, with card processing included. Eventbrite's published fees on the same ticket come to $5.20, and DICE's published US service fee comes to $6.50.

Where another platform costs your buyer less, the page says so: on a $100 ticket Eventbrite's published fees come to $8.55, against Ticket Fairy's $9; on a $15 ticket DICE's published fees come to $1.95, against Ticket Fairy's $2; on a $15 ticket Universe's published fees come to $1.09 before vAT and processing fees, against Ticket Fairy's $2; on a $25 ticket Universe's published fees come to $1.29 before vAT and processing fees, against Ticket Fairy's $2.50; on a $50 ticket Universe's published fees come to $1.79 before vAT and processing fees, against Ticket Fairy's $5; on a $100 ticket Universe's published fees come to $2.79 before vAT and processing fees, against Ticket Fairy's $9. Ticket Fairy's fee also pays for the software around your tickets: marketing, websites, the Event Operating System and Fai, which other platforms sell separately or not at all. The comparison page works out the fees at several ticket prices, with every source.

[Compare the fees on the same ticket](https://www.ticketfairy.com/pricing/compare)

## Do I get a better rate if I sell a lot of tickets?

Yes, through Enterprise or a term agreement.

Enterprise is for 100,000 or more paid tickets a year or 10 or more brands, with negotiated fees, a dedicated team and service levels. A brand with 5,000 or more paid tickets a year can commit to selling through Ticket Fairy for a term in return for locked fees, a better rate and its plan included. Book a call and the team works it out with you.

## Do your prices include VAT or GST?

Plan prices exclude tax unless they say otherwise.

UK prices are shown before VAT and New Zealand prices before GST. Mexican prices include IVA.

## Can my plan come out of my ticket sales instead of my card?

Yes. When you sell through Ticket Fairy, you can have your plan taken from the sales held for your next payout instead of a card, when that balance covers the price.

The money is your own, so you still pay in advance, and nobody lends you anything. A brand that sells its tickets elsewhere pays by card.

## I already sell with Ticket Fairy. What changes for me?

Nothing you use today is taken away. Your brand starts on Free and keeps its current team size, email volume and Fai limits with no end date.

Your events keep the fees they were set up with, and an agreement you already have stays in place until it ends.
