# See how your event is selling

Promoters watching an on-sale want two honest numbers: how many tickets have gone, and what the event has earned. The Performance page carries both and refreshes while you watch, with a row for every day of the run and a breakdown for every ticket type. Each figure counts something slightly different, and the page is easier to trust once you know which.

See how many tickets have sold and what your event has earned, from the figures across the top of the Performance page to the day-by-day table and the breakdown per ticket type.

Following an on-sale and reporting on it afterwards

Performance»

- [See the figures across the top](#step-1)
- [See the sales day by day](#step-2)
- [See which ticket types are selling](#step-3)

- You're an owner or an admin on this event, or you have a **Stats**, **Limited Stats** or promoter login for it. Each role sees a different amount of the page, and the last follow-up says how much.
- Your event has sold at least one ticket. Every tab stays reachable before that and shows its own empty state.

- ## See the figures across the top

Open your event and select **Performance**. **Tickets** is how many have sold and **Net revenue** is what the event has earned, and the line under each carries a second figure: the tickets sitting in buyers' carts, and the revenue with referral rebates left in.

**Примечание:** The figures refresh about every five seconds while the page is in front of you, and pause while the browser tab sits in the background. Nothing here sends an alert, so a target worth watching is worth watching on the page.

- ## See the sales day by day

Select **Ticket Sales** for one row per day, carrying **Order Date**, the tickets sold that day and **Revenue**. The chart above the table plots the same run, grouped **By Day** or **By Week**.

**Примечание:** The running-total columns carry the run forward from its first day, so the last row is the campaign so far. You can narrow the table and the chart together with **Filter by date range**.

- ## See which ticket types are selling

Select **Sales by Type** for one row per ticket type, with what has sold and what each has brought in. It is the view that tells you which release to open next.

A ticket type that has sold nothing still has a row, so an empty release is visible rather than absent.

Fai, the assistant inside your dashboard, reads the same figures and can explain what each one counts. She reads them; the page is where you change anything.

Fai

For \<EVENT NAME\>, tell me how many tickets have sold and what the event has earned after referral rebates, then which ticket type is selling fastest

Оставьте `--read-only` в конфигурации MCP.

Find my event by name, then give me tickets sold and revenue so far and say whether the figure leaves complimentary tickets out

Use the CLI for the same figures. You need an owner, admin, **Stats** or **Limited Stats** login.

### The figures across the top of the page.

ticketfairy event stats \<EVENT\_ID\> --metric summary

### Sales over time, the same run the Ticket Sales chart plots.

ticketfairy event stats \<EVENT\_ID\> --metric sales --output json

### The same totals per ticket type.

ticketfairy event stats \<EVENT\_ID\> --metric performance --output json

## Tell gross from net

**Gross Revenue** is the ticket price before sales tax and **Revenue** is what your event keeps of it under your fee agreement. Both already have refunds taken off, so neither is a before-refunds figure.

**Примечание:** On the usual agreement, where the buyer pays the booking fee on top, Revenue is the face value. On an event that absorbs the fee, or one on terms we agreed with you, it is the smaller figure those terms leave you.

Fai reads both figures and says which is which.

Fai

For \<EVENT NAME\>, give me revenue with and without the booking fee and tell me whether refunds are already taken off

## Find the report behind a figure

The tab strip carries a report for each part of the run: promo codes, promoters, add-ons, payment plans, box office, the waiting list and resale. Selecting the tab you are already on refreshes it in place.

Fai can pull any of those sections and compare them for you.

Fai

For \<EVENT NAME\>, break the sales down by promo code and tell me which code brought in the most

## What each role sees here

An owner, an admin or a **Stats** login sees the whole page, though Gross Revenue is hidden from a Stats login unless your account turns it on. A **Limited Stats** login gets the Ticket Sales report alone with no money columns, and a promoter sees only their own sales.

Fai is held to the same limits as the person she acts for, so she reports only what that login can see.

Fai

Which of my team can see revenue on \<EVENT NAME\>, and who only sees ticket counts

Why does Net revenue not match the Revenue column added up?: They are built differently on purpose. Net revenue takes referral rebates off and adds add-on and guest revenue, and it leaves box office sales in their own card rather than in the total. The card's footer names whichever of those apply to your event, and the tooltip on it gives the combined figure including cash taken at the door.

Is the page live?: It refreshes about every five seconds while it is open in front of you, and stops refreshing while the browser tab is in the background. It is not a feed that pushes to you, and there are no sales alerts, so a number you need to catch is one to watch on the page or check on a schedule of your own.

Why do Ticket Sales and Sales by Type disagree?: Ticket Sales leaves complimentary orders out and Sales by Type counts them. On an event that issues guest, artist or crew tickets the second is the larger of the two, and the gap between them is roughly what you have given away. Ticket Sales also counts tickets held but not yet paid for, which is why it can run ahead of the money, and refunded tickets drop out of both. On a cancelled event Ticket Sales turns around and counts the refunded orders instead, while Sales by Type goes on leaving them out, so the two are furthest apart there.

Can I compare this event with the last one here?: Not on this page. It reports one event at a time. Ask Fai to compare two events for you, or open the brand-level figures, which roll several events together.

Where did the Tickets in carts figure come from?: Those are tickets a buyer is holding in checkout right now, so they are neither sold nor available to anyone else. They appear as their own card on a multi-currency event, and the Tickets in Cart tab lists them.
