This has been pursued ‘in the interest of future generations’. The Italian parliament approved a law on making the protection of the environment a part of their constitution. It has been recognized by politicians and environmentalists as a significant step forward for the country. They are also hopeful that such a move will inspire other nations to conduct the same. Under the new law, the country will have the ability to prevent any initiatives that could potentially damage the health and well-being of people, the environment, and animals.
