Know What Every Event Earned, Owes and Pays Out

Follow each event's net revenue from the first sale, see when its payout is due and spend your ticket money in Vault before the payout arrives. Your production team records costs in the same budget you read, every deposit and supplier payment shows by the date it is due, and payments leave only when a second person on your team approves them. Fai prepares the finance work after each show, such as who to pay and the final fee of a percentage deal, and shows you every step of her working.

  • Every event's revenue, costs and payout in view
  • Payments approved by a second person
  • Settlements your partners can check line by line

See What Each Event Earned and When You Get Paid

Your event's Performance page shows net revenue from the first sale, with add-ons and table revenue in it and box office takings on their own card. Gross Revenue shows the ticket price before sales tax, and Revenue shows what you keep of it under your fee agreement. The payment details in each publish review say when that event's payout is due and what can hold it back. In Vault, each event's money lists ticket sales and add-ons, refunds, fees, partner shares and the estimate of what reaches you, and the Events list shows every event's payout beside any Capital still to repay.

  • Performance page: net revenue from the first sale, refreshed while you watch
  • Money from each event: sales, refunds, fees, partner shares and the estimate
  • Payout dates: when each event pays out and what can hold it back

Keep One Budget Your Whole Team Trusts

Your event's Budget page and the Budget your production team works in are the same budget, so finance and production read the same figures. Plan each section, record actual costs as they come in, and see approved purchase orders, booking costs and ordered hire as committed costs beside them. Each act's all-in cost and each shift's approved hours reach the budget for you. Ask Fai to help with Money in Start with Fai and the event shows Budget, Sponsors, Contracts and Hire and shopping, while people whose role cannot see your event's finances never see the budget or the contracts.

  • Planned and actual: the difference for each section, stage or show day
  • Committed costs: purchase orders, bookings and ordered hire
  • Crew costs: approved hours at each shift's cost per hour

Pay Every Artist, Supplier and Crew Member on Time and Under Control

Payments due shows every deposit, balance, per diem, backline and supplier payment as overdue, due this week or coming up. Send a purchase order, match the supplier's invoice to it, and pay from your Vault balance in one batch for everyone the event owes. Turn on payment approvals and a different owner or admin sends every payment someone prepares, and mark the suppliers you pay every event as trusted with a second person approving. Give your crew cards with the limits you set, and they add a photo of each receipt to the payment and link it to the event.

  • Purchase orders: the supplier's invoice matched to the order
  • Payment batches: everyone an event owes, paid together
  • Payment approvals: a second person sends what someone prepares
  • Cards with limits: for each crew member, with receipts on every payment

Settle Every Show and Collect What Partners Owe You

Fai drafts each settlement from your ticket sales, your costs and the deal, and every line shows how its figure was worked out, so the artist's team can check it before you mark it agreed. Each artist's share of their merch and cashless spend by bar and trader go into your settlements too. Traders enter their takings and you invoice your share of their sales, outside teams pay for the crew meals their people ate, and sponsors pay Vault invoices with line items and a due date. Collect a table deposit or a venue hire fee from a payment link straight into your Vault balance.

  • Drafted settlements: every line with how its figure was worked out
  • Trader takings: your share of sales invoiced to each trader
  • Invoices and payment links: sponsors, hire fees and deposits paid into Vault

Fund Your Deposits and Choose When Ticket Money Reaches You

Choose for each brand whether Ticket Fairy collects the card payments and pays you after the event, or whether the money goes to your own payment processing account as buyers pay. Decide who pays the booking fee on each event, and offer payment plans so fans can spread the cost of higher-priced tickets. When the headliner and the venue want deposits before your on-sale, apply for Ticket Fairy Capital with your sales history from any ticketing platform, and repay from your ticket sales as they come in.

  • Payout timing: after your event, or as tickets sell
  • Booking fee choice: added, absorbed or added later at checkout
  • Ticket Fairy Capital: an advance repaid from your ticket sales

Let Fai Prepare the Finance Work and Give Your Accountant Every Figure

After each event, Fai works out who to pay from your bookings, the final fee of a percentage deal from the contract and the ticket sales, payment batches and invoice reminders. Each suggestion shows every step of her working with the contract or event money it came from, and you accept it, change it first or dismiss it. Choose Off, Suggest or Do it for me for each kind of finance work. Give your accountant a Stats login for every report, and Vault statements and a spreadsheet of every movement for the books.

  • Prepared for you: who to pay, deal fees, batches and reminders
  • Every step shown: the working and the figures it came from
  • Statements and exports: Vault statements, movements and order exports

Questions About Ticket Fairy for Finance directors

Finance directors

No. The Ticket Fairy, Inc. is a technology platform and is not a bank. Vault banking services are provided through regulated banking partners, and Ticket Fairy Capital financing is provided by third-party private credit partners, who make every funding decision.

On an event Ticket Fairy collects the payments for, payouts are processed 10 to 15 business days after the event finishes. Where you take the card payments on your own account, you are paid on that account's own schedule. Postponed events, pending refund requests and chargebacks can extend the wait, and the publish review states the timing for the event in front of you.

An owner or admin opens the Vault account for your brand and finishes a verification check. You can finish setup in Ticket Fairy for a business in the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Singapore, any EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway.

It is what Vault can move today. It does not take off refunds you still owe, Capital you have not repaid or money due to others, so subtract those before you commit to a payment.

Owners and admins on the brand use Vault, and only the brand owner turns payment approvals on or off. Owners, admins and Stats logins see the whole Performance page, though Gross Revenue is hidden from a Stats login unless it is enabled for your account. Budget and Contracts show only to people whose role can see your event's finances.

Not on an act's all-in cost or your brand's spend. Each currency has its own total there. A Vault payment can come out of a balance in another currency, with the rate and fee shown before anyone sends it.

No. Accepting a finance suggestion only prepares something, such as a payee on an event's list or a payment batch ready to send. A person on your team sends it after confirming it is them, and a second person approves it when payment approvals are on. Do it for me is offered only for finance work that moves no money and sends no email.

If your event business is eligible, you can apply for up to $3M in the United States, up to €3M in Europe and up to £5M in the United Kingdom. A funding partner reviews your ticket sales history, event track record and projected sales, decides whether to approve your application and sets the terms.
