The tour kicks off in Wellington on February 1, later heading to [Hollywood Avondale in Auckland](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/ty-segall-freedom-band-new-zealand-tour-auckland) on February 2 and [The Yard Music Cafe in Raglan](https://www.ticketfairy.com/event/ty-segall-freedom-band-new-zealand-tour-raglan) on February 3. The last two stops of this tour are Whanganui (February 4) and Coromandel (February 5). The four-piece Freedom Band is currently backing Segall on tour. It consists of incredibly talented members Charles Moonhart (drums), Ben Boye (keys), Emmett Kelly (guitar), and Mikal Cronin (bass). Ty Segall and Freedom Band’s ongoing Australia Tour 2023 will take them to cities across the country, including Perth, Brisbane, and Sydney. The dates for the Australia and New Zealand tours were announced in June 2022. They also hit the road in the US last year. The singer-songwriter Ty Segall embarked on a solo tour in February 2022. The multi-instrumentalist was busy with his ‘Hello, Hi’ US tour in June and July and his US solo acoustic tour in November. Segall also played a free show at the beach in Santa Monica, California. He was a part of the ‘Good Music To Ensure Safe Abortion Access to All’ fundraising compilation.
