Brand new for Bristol, the minds and visionaries behind the UK's most immersive and theatrical festival will bring their jaw dropping levels of creativity back to where it all began 11 years ago, in their brand new permanent events space in Bristol, near Temple Meads train station.

After launching with back-to-back sold out Halloween parties in November and the raving in the New Year with a huge party, Area 404 invites you to return to ‘Explore the deserted industrial quadrant of AREA 404: an overgrown immersive, dystopia filled with lost souls and the half-living…’ for multiple events in April and May 2020. Some events will be theatrically led and others will be purely about the music.

The warren-like complex houses five rooms, permeating with the sounds that radiate from Boomtown’s very core… The main room will feature high energy live music, similar to those who’ve soundtracked the festival’s main stages for the past decade. The medium and smaller rooms will host a perfect spectrum of reggae, techno, house, DnB and disco, ensuring the true Boomtown spirit is represented to bring people together in a huge melting pot of musical styles, theatrical exploration and creative endeavour.
