An ending of a video game always defines how good the game you’ve just played is, as you spend countless hours grinding and following the journey your character takes. You either expect a big bad boss fight to appear or simply a conclusive end to the story for your character.
While bad endings are quite common in games like Fall-Out 3 and Assassins Creed 3, both of these games are highly addictive and have incredible gameplay, but delivered an ending that players didn’t quite appeal to.
We’ve listed down four video games with the worst ending as well as four more that have the best endings.

The game takes place in the year 2277, a hundred years after The Great Nuclear. To preserve human life, the government built underground bunkers in which 1000 people were placed in cryo-sleep.
After waking up, you wander the wastelands in search of your missing father while also completing side quests and unraveling a conspiracy. You pick up on the work your father left behind and try completing it but soon the climax nears. Out of all the Assassins Creed games, the third installment is the worst. Along with many bugs, invisible walls, and a very dry conclusion to the story, players just didn’t like it. Its dodgy ending began right after the main character, Conner, killed a member of the Templar Order Charles Lee. while felt unnecessary but forced as the spirit guide entrusted you with this task. The final scenes show modern-day hero Desmond Miles is asked to decide between dooming the world in the coming apocalypse or leaving it in the hands of Juno, who is a vengeful godlike figure. [Spoiler] Desmond chooses to save the world but the cost is his life.
