Top 5 Celebrity Fortnite Skins

The Craze for Fortnite has increased in popularity over the four years of its launch back in July 2017. It is a third-person shooter, battle royal developed and published by Epic Games, and is completely free only on Epic Games’ distribution platform.

Fortnite has a variety of skins available for players to purchase from comic book Characters like superman and Harley Quinn and movie Characters like John Wick (The Reaper) and Gingy From Shrek (Merry Marauder).

Fortnite has been very creative with each new season and its character designs along with a few real-life celebrities like Travis Scott and Major Lazer becoming playable characters. We’ve listed our top five picks of celebrity skin in Fortnite, some are yet available and can be purchased using V-bucks or if you’re already a veteran you might already have it.

Travis Scott

 The Travis Scott Skin first made its debut in Fortnite’s Chapter 2 (Season 2) on the 23rd of April 2020, when the man himself decided he wanted to have a virtual concert just like American DJ Marshmello.

On the 23rd of April 2020, Travis Scott performed his new album Astroworld for the players of Fortnite on a dedicated server along with a custom ginormous animated version of himself performing songs like “Highest In The Room”. The concert being well received by the audience, Epic Games made an entire Custom skin called “Travis Scott” in the game for him and other players to purchase.

Marshmello

 Marshmello is an American electronic music producer/DJ and has been a part of the Fortnite roster since the 1st of February 2019. He was the first-ever musician to have his own skin in Fortnite, while also being the very first celebrity to have a virtual concert in-game.

The skin was last available on the 13th of August 2021 and can be bought using in-game currency V-bucks on the Fortnite store. It is a skin that keeps returning to the game so if you haven’t purchased it yet it should return in 227 days. They also have an entire bundle which is for 3500 V-bucks in that you get a pair of marshmallow-themed pickaxes, a glider, an emote, and the skin itself.

Ninja

 Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevin is an American Gaming streamer known for his endless amounts of victories in Fortnite games. Later on the 1st of August 2019, he left Twitch to join Microsoft’s Mixer for content creation, following a couple of months later on the 22nd of May 2020 Fortnite announced they will be releasing Ninja’s bundle for players to collect.

The Ninja bundle was available to purchase from the Items Store until the 3rd of August 2021 but now you’ll have to catch it the next time it comes into the market. The entire bundle costs 2000 V-Bucks which comes with emotes, custom dual swords, and his custom glider.

Major Lazer

 Major Lazer is an electronic dance music trio from Jamaica and America who are also very well known all around the world for their music. The Major Lazer skin is an Icon Series Fortnite Outfit from the Lazerism set, in that you get his custom outfit, an ax for harvesting, Lazer wings which are also called Back Bling, and two songs that you can listen to while playing.

The skin can be purchased on the store for 1600 V-bucks but recently was taken down on the 13th of June 2021 as the season ended. Major Lazer was the second celebrity to have their own skin in Fortnite which came out on the 23rd of August 2019 in Fortnite Chapter 1, Season 10.

Neymar Jr

 Neymar Jr is a Brazilian football player who plays for PSG as their forward wearing the number 10. Many of Neymar Jr’s fans call him one of the best players in the world comparing him to the likes of Ronaldo and Messi. He is also the first-ever football player to have his own skin on Fortnite.

The Neymar Jr skin was launched on the 27th of April 2021 and is the only skin out of the list that is free and attainable from doing in-game quests, you first have to buy the chapter 2 season 6 battle pass which is for 900 V-buck that grants players the ability to talk to a couple of in-game characters to get what’s in the battle pass.
