Anime Releases You Need to Catch This Fall

The craze for anime has increased over the years with more and more manga adaptations becoming animes. This Fall has many major releases like Demon-Slayer’s Part 2 and the famous Death Note writer’s Platinum End. We have made a list of the top five animes you should watch this December, packed with action, adventure, and sci-fi!

With so many animes in their production stage, major releases have become less common. Production houses such as MAPPA are working on movies and shows that have already had season one like Jujitsu Kaisen, but keep your heads up become we have great news coming below!

86 EIGHTY-SIX Part 2 

 The story of Eight-Six follows a girl called Lena, as she commands the squad of drones who call themselves 86. Her country San Magnolia is in a war against their neighboring country, the Empire of Giad. Both sides agreed to use unmanned drones so no casualties would accrue. 

The anime has intense fight-scene and an intricate storyline for anime lovers to watch. It is written by Asato Asato, produced by Aniplex and aired for the first time on the 10th of April 2021. 

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures Stone Ocean 

 Netflix announced JOJO’s Bizarre Adventures Stone Oceae will premier on the 1 of December 2021. The series features the first JOJO woman, Jolyne Cujoh. In the Manga, Ocean Stone is the sixth story ark written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. 

The story of Jojos Bizarre Adventures follows the Joestar family, who is in possession of great psychic strength, each member’s face adventure with some being quite difficult. Due to their bloodline, the Joestar family is cured with great evil always following them. 

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation 

 The story of Jobless Reincarnation follows a 34-year-old man who dies by getting hit by a speeding truck. He wakes up to realize he is a baby again in a magical world with powers, but his memories are yet intact. 

The second season of Jobless Reincarnation is already out, the second season premiered on the 3rd of October 2021. It is also a manga adapted into an anime by Studio Bind and the first episode aired in January. 

Platinum End 

The story follows a young man recruited to become a god, sent to him is his own angel that will train him and help him reach his goal of becoming a god. The story is written by the same writer of Death Note, which means it definitely is something you’d want to check out! 

Platinum End was released on the 8th of October 2021 and is rated a 7.3 out of 10 on IMDb, work from Tsugumi Ohba is always something we’d urge you to check out due to his obvious famous anime Death Note! 

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 2 

 The story of Demon Slayer follows a boy named Tanjiro Kamado whose family was killed by a demon whilst only his younger sister was spared. Later realizing his sister was turned into a demon, Tanjiro set out on a quest to become a demon slayer and turn his sister back into a human. 

The first season of Demon Slayer aired on Netflix on the 6th of April 2019 and ended with a movie in which Tanjiro faced one of the upper-moons and has to bear with the death of the Fire Hashira who urges him to train more and defeat all of the demons. The story is adapted from the manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge which now is available on Netflix to watch.
