The Map of Tiny Perfect Things


‘The Map of Tiny Perfect Things’ is based on Lev Grossman’s short story of the same name. The film’s screenplay is by Grossman and it has been directed by Ian Samuels. ‘The Map of Tiny Perfect Things’ tells the tale of quick-witted teen Mark. Mark (Kyle Allen) contently lives the same day in an endless loop.

However, his world is turned upside-down when he meets mysterious Margaret (Kathryn Newton), also stuck in the time loop and they form a magnetic partnership. The duo set out to find all the tiny things that make that one day perfect and what follows is a love story. But this story has a fantastical twist. Both Mark and Margaret struggle to figure out how and whether to escape their never-ending day in this film.

Godzilla vs. Kong


This latest chapter in the Monsterverse centers around the legends – the fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong who collide. In ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’, these mythic adversaries meet in a spectacular battle for the ages and Kong, and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home. With this, the fate of the world hangs in the balance. With the mighty Kong and his protectors is Jia, a young orphaned girl.

Jia has formed a unique and powerful bond with Kong but they unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla. This cuts a swath of destruction across the globe and an epic clash between the two titans is instigated by unseen forces. This battle is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth while humanity is caught in the balance.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve, this film is about Paul Atreides – the son of a noble family. He is a brilliant and gifted young man. Paul is born into a great destiny beyond his understanding. He is entrusted to protect the most valuable asset and most vital element in the galaxy.

Atreides (played by Chalamet) must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people, while “malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence”. In ‘Dune’ “only those who can conquer their own fear will survive,” as per Rotten Tomatoes.

Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time


‘Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time’ is the fourth and final installment of the Rebuild of Evangelion. In this movie, Misato and her anti-Nerv group Wille arrive in Paris. Paris is now a city red from core-ization and the crew from the flagship Wunder land on a containment tower.

They only have 720 seconds to restore the city and Mari’s improved Eva Unit 8 must intercept when a horde of Nerv Evas appears. Meanwhile, Shinji, Asuka, and Rei (provisional name) wander around Japan with Shinji Ikari still adrift after losing his will to live. However, the place he arrives at teaches him what it means to hope.

Space Sweepers


Netflix’s Space Sweeper follows Spaceship Victory’s crew members who after snatching a crashed space shuttle in the latest debris chase find a seven-year-old girl inside. But then they realize that she’s a human-like robot. This robot is wanted by UTS Space Guards. Then the crew members decide to demand a ransom in exchange.

The Matrix Resurrections’, the latest addition to the Matrix series, follows Neo’s life, plagued by strange memories. It takes an unexpected turn when he finds himself back inside the Matrix. It also introduces some new characters!

The Mitchells vs. the machines


In this movie we see the Mitchells, the world’s weirdest family, embark on a cross-country road trip. This trip includes young Katie, her proud parents, her younger brother, and her beloved dog. They embark on this journey to start her first year at film school but their plans to bond get interrupted.

Their family bonding is put on hold when the world’s electronic devices come to life to stage an uprising. The Mitchells, a quirky and dysfunctional family, suddenly become humanity’s unlikeliest last hope to save one another and the planet.

Boss Level


Frank Grillo takes on the role of a former special forces agent Roy Pulver in ‘Boss Level’. He is trapped in a time loop that constantly repeats the day of his murder and Pulver uncovers clues about a secret government project. This project could unlock the mystery behind Roy’s untimely death but in a race against the clock, he must hunt down Colonel Ventor.

Ventor is played by Mel Gibson, who is the powerful head of the government program.  Pulver must hunt him down while outrunning skilled ruthless assassins determined to keep him from the truth. Roy has to do this in order to break out of the loop, save his family and live once again for tomorrow in ‘Boss Level’, directed by Joe Carnahan.

Starring Tom Hanks as Finch in ‘Finch’, a man, a robot, and a dog form an unlikely family. They form this bond in a powerful as well as touching adventure. ‘Finch’ is a film that follows one man’s quest to ensure that his beloved canine companion will be cared for after he’s gone, as per Rotten Tomatoes.

Finch is a robotics engineer and one of the few survivors of a cataclysmic solar event that has left the world a wasteland. However, he has been living in an underground bunker for a decade and has built a world of his own. He shares it with his dog, Goodyear, and creates a robot to watch over Goodyear when he no longer can. The trio embarks on a perilous journey into a desolate American West in this movie that also features Caleb Landry Jones, Skeet Ulrich, Samira Wiley, and Laura Harrier among others.

Finch makes great efforts to show his creation, the happiness, joy, pleasure, and wonder of what it means to be alive in this Apple Original Film premiering on November 5. Finch, the robot, and the dog’s road trip are both challenging and humorous since it’s as difficult for him to goad Jeff (the robot) and Goodyear to get along as it is for him to manage the dangers of the new world.
