This Amazon Prime Video series sees a man on the run from a crime boss. This may sound familiar – he has to act normal to pretend like everything’s okay. In ‘Sneaky Pete’ Giovanni Ribisi plays the role of Marius, an ex-con man just released from prison. He tries to leave his old life behind by assuming the identity of his cellmate, Pete, which further complicates things.

Marius reunites with Pete’s long-lost family and while his family doesn’t have reason to suspect that he is not their long-lost loved one, they are a colorful group with their own secrets and lies. This could make Marius’ life as dangerous as the world he was hoping to escape.

Marius must find a way to keep his lies from backfiring, he is in a constantly tightening vice that he somehow manages to wiggle out of, (a lot like Marty Byrde does in Ozark) as he deals with unexpected situations that come his way. Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston is one of the executive producers of the series and also appears in it!
