Highly Anticipated Netflix Shows and Movies of February 2022

February is looking like a wonderful month for Netflix as it offers a wide range of exciting shows and films arriving on the platform this month! Netflix series like Space Force, Raising Dion, Sweet Magnolias, and Love is Blind are returning with their second seasons.

It will also see the premiere of new series like Inventing Anna, Vikings: Valhalla, The Cuphead Show, Murderville starring Will Arnett who plays Senior Detective Terry Seattle with celebrity guests such as Conan O’Brien, Ken Jeong, Kumail Nanjiani, Sharon Stone, Annie Murphy, and Marshawn Lynch joining him. These guests aren’t given the script in real-life meaning that they have no idea what is about to happen. The celebrity guests will have to improvise and try to find the murderer.

Raising Dion (Season 2) – February 1

‘Raising Dion’ follows a widowed mother named Nicole (Alisha Wainwright) who raises her son Dion (Ja’Siah Young) after the death of her husband Mark, and must solve the mystery surrounding her young son’s emerging superpowers. She must also hide Dion’s superpowers. This is to protect him from exploitation while investigating their origins and her husband’s death. The second season of the series comes to Netflix on February 1.

The Tinder Swindler – February 2

Posing as a wealthy, jet-setting diamond mogul, he wooed women online then conned them out of millions of dollars. Now some victims plan for payback. A group of women who were the victims of a dating app-based swindler join together in an attempt to hunt him down. Now some victims plan for payback and to recover the millions of dollars that were stolen from them.

Finding Ola – February 3

This new Netflix Arab original TV series sees a strong-willed woman, Ola Abdel-Sabour, played by Hend Sabry, embark on a journey of self-discovery, after a life-altering event, while dealing with the challenges of raising two children and making ends meet.

Murderville – February  3

‘Murderville’ stars Will Arnett as an eccentric detective, Homicide Division, teaming up with a new celebrity guest star as his partner for a new murder to solve. The guest stars joining him are Conan O’Brien, Ken Jeong, Kumail Nanjiani, Sharon Stone, Annie Murphy, and Marshawn Lynch. These guests aren’t given a script in real life which means they improvise their way through a scripted murder investigation without a script in this crime comedy.

The second season of ‘Sweet Magnolias’ arrives on Netflix on February 4! Centering on lifelong friends Maddie (Are You Afraid of the Dark’s JoAnna Garcia Swisher), Helen (Heather Headley), and Dana Sue (Brooke Elliott), ‘Sweet Magnolias’ sees how they lift each other up. The show explores how they juggle relationships, family, and careers in the small, southern town of Serenity.

Looop Lapeta – February 4

Starring Taapsee Pannu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and more, ‘Looop Lapeta’ is a Hindi language film wherein Savi races against the clock to save the day when her boyfriend loses a mobster’s cash. If only she can break out of a curious cycle of dead ends in this Netflix film coming to the streaming platform on February 4.

This new German movie follows a wealthy teen and his friends attending an elite private school who stumble upon the unknown after a series of supernatural occurrences take place right under their noses. Texas Chainsaw Massacre – February 18

In this sequel of the horror/slasher film, in Netflix’s film ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ influencers are looking to breathe new life into a Texas ghost town.
