New Shows and Movies Coming to HBO Max, Apple TV+, Paramount+, and More in February 2022

Series finale and premiers! February has it all in store for us.

The return of the Fresh Prince, love from beyond the grave and the ongoing battle with zombies returns. Here is a list of new releases and your favorite shows returning to Apple TV+, Lifetime, HBO MAX, Paramount+, Peacock, EPIX, AMC, CW, NBC, BBC America, FX AMERICA, and Sony Liv!

Suspicion: Season 1 (Apple TV+) – February 4

The producers of ‘The Americas’ and ‘Homeland’ bring to you ‘Suspicion’ – a series based on the Israeli show ‘Firstflag’. Five people emerge as suspects after an American businesswoman’s son gets abducted. The series stars Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill), Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory), along with Noah Emmerich (The Americans), and is directed and produced by Ben Stiller.

Single Black Female (Lifetime) – February 5

Raven Goodwin and Amber Riley star in this upcoming thriller. Befriending the office assistant Simone, Monica’s life takes a toll after Simone’s true intentions unfurl. Based on the 1992 psychological erotic thriller ‘Single White Female’, the adaptation stars Jennifer Jason Leigh and Bridget Fonda.

Kimi (HBO MAX) – February 10

Zoë Kravitz (Dope, Divergent series) plays the role of a voice stream interpreter who discovers evidence of a violent crime on ‘Kimi’ – a device that operates as a digital assistant on the lines of ‘Alexa’ or ‘Siri’. She gets enveloped in a cover-up conspiracy as she tries to report the incident.

The Sky Is Everywhere (Apple TV+) – February 11

An adaption of a novel of the same name by author Jandy Nelson. The plot reloves around musical prodigy Lennie, overcoming her grief over the loss of her sister. The film stars Grace Kauffman (Man With A Plan), Jason Segal (How I Met Your Mother), along with actress Cherry Jones (Succession).

The In Between (Paramount+) – February 11

A troubled, grief-stricken teenager focuses on attempts to reconnect with her boyfriend, who lost his life in a car accident that they were in together. The Movie cast includes Joey King (The Kissing Booth, Slender Man), Kyle Allen (West Side Story), Kim Dickens (Hollow Man, Gone Girl) and more!

Marry Me (Peacock) – February 11

This musical romantic-comedy stars singer, actress, and dancer Jennifer Lopez as Kat and actor Owen Wilson as Charlie in the lead roles. The drama unfolds when Kat agrees to Marry a stranger, Charlie, who held up a Marry Me signboard by accident. The film also stars singer-songwriter Maluma, John Bradley West (Game of Thrones), and comedian and actress Sarah Silverman (Wreck-It Ralph). Based on the fantasy romantic comedy novel by Bobby Crosby.

Bel-Air: Season 1 (Peacock) – February 13

Will Smith returns as an executive producer on a show that elevated his career. ‘Bel-Air’ is set in modern times and is a drama-based take on the original comedy series that aired in the 90s. The series will follow Will, played by newcomer Jabari Banks, on his journey from the streets of Philadelphia to residing in the mansions of Bel-Air.

Big Nate (Paramount+) – February 17

Based on the comic book series of the same name by cartoonist and writer Lincoln Peirce, ‘Big Nate’ follows the adventures of middle school rebel Nate Wright as he seeks to make school awesome and entertaining. Voices behind these roles are by Ben Giroux, Dove Cameron, Rob Delany, Micheal Rivkin.

Severance: Season 1 (Apple TV+) – February 18

A company has its employee’s memories surgically split between their work and personal lives by a ‘severance’ program. Mark begins to search for the truth after he is visited by a work colleague who should have no memory of him. The series cast includes Adam Scott, Britt Lower, John Turturro, Zach Cherry along with veteran actor Christopher Walken.

From (EPIX) – February 20

On a road trip, the Matthews family are unable to navigate their way out of small-town and look for assistance after going about in circles. When all hope is lost, they are given a set of rules by locals to stay alive from the horrors that arrive out at night.
From the executive producers of the TV series ‘Lost’ comes another science-fiction and horror series starring Harold Perrineau, Eion Bailey and Shaun Majumder.

The Walking Dead: Season 11 (AMC) – February 20

The second part of the three-part conclusion to the decade-long series. The season midseason finale ended with the showdown between Maggie’s group against the reapers using a hwacha (fire cart) weapon. Titled ‘No Other Way’, residents of Alexandra must ride out the storm that hit as well as the Zombie hoard that as entered.
The walking dead returns with cast members Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan.

All American: Homecoming: Season 1 (CW) – February 20

“All American: Homecoming” is a spin-off series of ‘All American’ that debuted in 2018. The series will follow young tennis enthusiast Simone Hicks played by actress Geffri Maya reprising her role steering through the highs and lows of life at HBCU Bringston University. The college drama also stars Peyton Alex Smith, Cory Hardrict, Kelly Jenrette.

The Endgame: Season 1 (NBC) – February 20

The Endgame portrays the mind-bending cop-criminal thriller about an arms trafficker who conducts multiple bank robberies. Her ambition is to own what is most valuable to her – the truth. Starring Morena Baccarin (Deadpool) and Ryan Michelle Bathé (Sylvie’s Love) and directed by Justin Lin of the Fast and Furious Franchise films.

Killing Eve: Season 4 (BBC America) – February 27

The golden globe nominated series returns for its final season. A spy thriller following agent Eve Polastri and skilled assassin Oksana Villanelle involved in a constant game of cat and mouse. Throughout the series, their lives interlink on multiple occasions and this poses the question – can one do without the other?
The cast includes award-winning actress Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy) and Jodie Comer (The Last Duel, Free Guy).

Better Things: Season 5 (FX AMERICA) – February 28

Comedy-Drama ‘Better Things’ returns with Sam Fox portrayed by actress Pamela Aldon. A single mom of three working as an actress in Hollywood while handling the day-to-day episodes in her daughter’s life.
The award-winning series is directed and written lead by Pamela Adlon herself. Season four has a 100% approval rating with an average rating of 8.5 out of 10 on Rotten Tomatoes.

Rocket Boys (Sony Liv) – February 4

The tale of a teacher-student mentorship between the lives of Jehangir Bhabha and Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai. Fueled with passions about space and atomic energy, this real-life story will elaborate on how they to edged their name in the history books.
‘Rocket Boys’ is directed by Nikkhil Advani and casts Jim Sarbh as nuclear physicist Homi Bhabha, Ishwak Singh as physicist and astronomer Vikram Sarabhai. Arjun Radhakrishnan also portrays Indian Aerospace scientist and former President late Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam.
