The debut track off the album called ‘Black Summer’ is out now. The track also marks the band’s return of longtime guitarist John Frusciante. Just as with the likes of ‘Otherside’, ‘Black Summer’ reintroduces the bona fide sound of the band. Red Hot Chili Peppers is an American rock group formed by singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and guitarist John Frusciante. The band will be completing 40 years together in 2023, next year. Incorporating elements of alternative rock, funk, punk rock and psychedelic rock, and having sold over 100 million records worldwide, they are one of the best-selling bands of all time.
