His oldest son Alphonsos announced his demise on [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=488024332692133&set=a.250585069769395&type=3), but they have yet to clarify the cause of death. MC Skibadee was a British drum and bass MC and electronic music recording artist. He began working on City Sound Radio in 1993 and rapidly became a frequent player there. Throughout his career, he was a regular on several stations specializing in electronic music. In his project 2Xfreestyle, he had made a new sound by layering a drum and bass pace over a hip-hop beat, resulting in a double-time effect. He was successful with a number of songs, most notably ‘Inside Me.’  Throughout his career, he received numerous honors for his work. It includes the 1Xtra award for Best MC and the Stevie Hyper D Memorial Award For Lifetime Achievement at the Drum and Bass Awards in 2010.
