Florence Welch leads the band, alongside keyboardist Isabella Summers, guitarist Rob Ackroyd, harpist Tom Monger, and a collaboration of other musicians. Their sound has been described as a blend of various genres, including rock and soul. Their music is known for its dramatic and eccentric production style paired with Welch’s powerful vocals. Over the span of their career, Florence + The Machine has been nominated for six Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album. Moreover, the band played at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards as well as the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize Concert.
