Attack On Titan Season 4 Episode 24 Review

Attack on Titan is finally reaching its finale in two more episodes, and after seven long years, the story of Eren Yager will come to an end! We will be entering spoiler territory ahead. You have been warned! This is a quick summary of Attack on Titan season 4 episode 24, titled ‘Pride.’

In the previous episode of Attack on Titan, we learned that Hange had found Levi and was tending to the wounds that nearly killed him, after surviving Zeke’s surprise attack. While Connie kidnaps Falco, after witnessing him turning back into a human while the rumbling began, he takes Falco and rushes to his mother, who’d been a victim of Zeke’s attack on Wall Rose, which turned her into a Pure Titan.

In Episode 24, we finally uncover Falco’s fate, see an alliance form within the Marleyans and the Scout Regiment, and the start of the final fight to end the Rumbling!

Falco Saved, Armin’s Sacrifice

In the last episode of Attack on Titan, we see Connie willing to sacrifice Falco to save his mother, who was turned into a Titan at the beginning of the series. Upon witnessing Falco emerging out of a Titan’s nape alive, Armin, Jean, Mikasa, and Connie decide whether they should feed Commander Pixis one of the Titan Shifters’ abilities.

Connie snatches Falco and leaves for his hometown to set his mother free, who is a victim of Zeke’s attack four years back on Wall Rose, that turned her into one of many Pure Titans.

As the two arrive at Connie’s hometown, Connie hesitates to kill Falco. Armin and Gabbi arrive just in time to save Falco, Armin jumps in to save Falco by sacrificing himself for Connie’s mother. However, Connie couldn’t lose another friend.

The Yagerists, Jean’s Betrayal

Inside Paradis Island, the Yagerists have taken full control of the surroundings, from first aid to political stands. Floch, a former classmate of Eren’s, is leading the Yagerists, and standing alongside him is Jean.

In Episode 24, Yelena and Onyankopon have been held at gunpoint by Floch, who convicts them of assisting Zeke’s plan to euthanize all Eldians. Everyone present at the gathering believed Floch to be doing the right thing, but Jean doesn’t like this one bit. After shooting three shots at the floor and listening to Onyankopon’s chant of despair to save his friends and family, the Cart Titan smashes through and takes Jeans, Yelena, and Onyankopon away.

Another Plot Twist

At the beginning of the episode, we learn that Hange has been staying in the forest with an injured Captain Levi, observing the war from a distance, until they finally spot the Cart Titan! Hange seems to have created an alliance between the Marleyans and the Scouts, whose goal is to kill Eren Yager and stop the rumbling.

We see Armin, Connie, Gabi, Falco, Mikasa. Surprisingly, Annie leaves the walls and meets Reiner, to maybe try and stop Eren from destroying the entire world. Well, that is speculation for now, but we did get to see a type of alliance formed between the Marelyan Commander and Captain Levi.

What We Can Expect

The story of Attack on Titan is only three episodes away from being complete, and we expect a whole lot of action from an anime that has consistently delivered to its viewers over the past seven years.

With an alliance formed and the remaining Titan Shifters working together to stop the Rumbling, they need to catch up to Eren to (probably) kill him. We yet have to witness Falco’s Jaw Titan, but as we saw during Eren’s training period, he had taken several months to master transforming into one, so we might not see Falco’s Titan at all!

We’ve been following ‘Attack on Titan’ ever since its release in 2016, and with the recent episodes, our minds have simply been blown away! If you like our content, tune in next week for another breakdown of ‘Attack on Titan.’
