The song is accompanied by a music video directed by Christian Breslauer. In it, Khalid’s daydream transports him poolside. There, the singer and Marshmello chill before they eventually get a dance party started in a tent. “I, I wanna get numb/And forget where I’m from,” Khalid sings on the hook of the instantly catchy song. “’Cause lookin’ in your eyes/Like lookin’ at the sun.” ‘Numb’ has saccharine whistles and a bouncy bassline.
