Amsterdam Dance Event Announce New Artist Residencies Lineup and More Experiences at the ADE Arts and Culture Program 2022
Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is back for its second installment this year and will be held from October 19 to 23, 2022, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Its debut saw massive success in 2021. As this yearās five-day event draws near, ADE has announced the latest updates on the residencies, conference and the festival.
ADE is said to be āthe most upfront, influential and educational gathering for electronic music and its industry.ā It attracts more than 1000 events in over 200 locations! They announced their first-ever artistās residencies as part of ADEās Arts and Culture program.
In May 2022, ADE revealed its first wave of speakers at the conference. They were: Diplo, Suzanne Ciani, Youssou NāDour, and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. The likes of Afrojack, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Nicky Romero, TiĆ«sto, and more, are set to perform their sets at the festival this year. The ADE festival garnered over 2500 artists within the electronic subgenres. It had 400,000 visitors in 2019.

Boiler Room Hosted Its First-Ever Broadcast From Pakistan
Boiler Room broadcasted its first-ever event from Pakistan on June 20, 2022, at District 19, a former ice factory in Karachi. This factory has been transformed into a multipurpose space for artists and creators.
Boiler Room celebrated the countryās growing dance music scene as well as its rich history of traditional music and live performances at an event where Nabihah Iqbal welcomed viewers to the first-ever boiler room staged in Karachi, Pakistan. Iqlab is a UK-based artist and presenter of Pakistani descent. Musician and anthropologist Daniyal Ahmed, too, joined Nabihah Iqbal. Performers at the event included Jaubi, Natasha Norani, and Natasha Ejaz, among others.
Boiler Room Pakistan was supported and executed by Dialled In, Karachi Community Radio, Cape Monze Records, and Chalo, with funding from theĀ British Council Arts. DJ Ozzie, who also played at the event, commented via InstagramĀ expressing, āThis one is for all the believers. Historic moment for the PK underground scene. Iām beyond grateful & honored to be a part of this. This thing alone gives us so much hope & pushes us forward, it keeps us going.ā

Fred Again.. Teases Music With Skrillex
Skrillex fans may be in for a treat! AĀ SkrillexĀ collaboration could be in the superstar producer’s wide-ranging trove of unreleased music, as a brief teaser clip of one such collab was originally posted on Fred Again..ās Instagram. The clip features the two artists cooking up a spicy new trap tune with no word on a release date. However, at the very least, it is still encouraging to see Skrillex in seemingly good spirits.
The American DJ has had last-minuteĀ withdrawalsĀ from two recent major festivals on his calendar. The first was Tampa’s Sunset Music Festival and the second – Detroit’s Movement. Skrillex attributed the cancellation to a need to spend more time in the studio to finish forthcoming projects.
Meanwhile, the British singer-songwriter Fred again.. continues to court mainstream attention as he rides high on the back of his scintillating āActual Life 2āĀ album. Alan Walker Drops āWalkerverse Pt. 1ā Album
Alan Walker is back and better than ever! There has been a significant development in the battle over streaming royalties. Veteran electronic musician Four Tet has settled his dispute with U.K.-based Domino Recordings. Four Tet, whose real name is Kieran Hebden, will receive an unusually high 50% royalty rate for streaming and downloads on songs covered in a 2001 contract, according to a report inĀ Music Week. The English musician also has beenĀ reimbursedĀ for an underpayment of GBP 56,921 (USD 69,889), plus interest, as perĀ Variety.
