Delta Heavy Returns to Auckland for Tour

Delta Heavy, one of the most well-known names in the Drum & Bass music genre, will return to tour New Zealand. Their slated performance at Studio The Venue, Auckland, on July 8 will be their last stop in the country. Tickets for this event are powered by Ticket Fairy.

English Drum & Bass production duo Ben Hall and Simon James will perform a series of shows as part of the first phase of their global Ascend tour that kicked off in May 2022. Presented by Audiology Touring, their schedule includes appearances at the recent Ohakune and Queenstown Mardi Gras festivals.

Not for the first time, Delta Heavy / DELT? HE?VY will take to the stage at Studio The Venue in Auckland. Their previous show at the venue was in January 2021, before the release of tracks ‘Ascend’ and ‘Hydra’. Along with those singles, Delta heavy fans will once again have the opportunity to groove other hits such as Get By,’ ‘Kill Room,’ ‘Kaleidoscope,’ ‘Ghost,’ ‘Punish My Love,’ and ‘Feel.’

Studio The Venue is Auckland’s premier location to host live events. It has been a mainstay in Auckland’s live entertainment scene for many years. Having hosted some of New Zealand’s and the world’s biggest musicians, Studio The Venue has been one of the most unique venues for New Zealand artists and performers to connect with attendees.

Supporting acts for the show on July 8 are DJ Ana Agiüs, RSB, Soulful Drum and Bass artist TakaRat, and Drum & Bass producer Charlie ‘Hazey’ Spicer. Hazey has previously opened for Delta Heavy during their performance at Waihi, New Zealand, in January 2021. Regarding her upcoming performance, DJ Ana Agiüs mentioned via Instagram “that she was honored to be a supporting act for Delta Heavy.”

While anticipating their shows in New Zealand, Delta Heavy shared via Instagram, “New Zealand it’s so good to be back! What an amazing way to start the tour, can’t wait to do it all again this weekend ???.”
