In my head there is a deep underlying truth in this record, but for the sake of explanation…, ‘Dead Man Walking Pt.1’ is the story of a man returning to a civilization he had once abandoned after helping them defeat a common enemy (Rott N’ Roll Pt. 1 & 2).”

Volunteers in Ukraine Organise ‘Rave’ Clean-up Parties
While Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the First Lady have appeared on the cover of Vogue, young Ukrainians organized a daytime ‘clean-up rave’. It is to help clear out sections of rubble in the cities caused by the bombings since the Russian invasion of Ukraine officially began earlier this year. The volunteers help clear up and rebuild bombed-out homes. While helping, they enjoy themselves to some techno tracks.
“We came here and wanted to support people who survived after the Russian occupation, explained Tatyana Byrianova. She is a volunteer with Ukraine’s Repair Together organization.
“In Kyiv it was a normal situation, but here it was really awful. People left their homes, and their houses were broken, a lot of houses were ruined,” she said. “We wanted to help them rebuild, fix their houses and clean the territory.”
“Techno parties, especially rave festivals, it was our lifestyle before so we miss it and we want to come back to normal life but our normal life now is volunteering,” said Tatyana.
This wasn’t the group’s first event as the clean-up at the cultural center in Yahidne was the group’s eighth event so far. The volunteers have already helped repair 15 damaged homes in the village, according to Euronews. Most of the volunteers came from Kyiv but others have come from the western city of Lviv. Some foreign volunteers arrived in Yahidne from Portugal, the United States, Germany, and elsewhere.
Louis Vuitton Unveils New Collection Inspired by David Mancuso
Louis Vuitton has unveiled its Pre-Spring 2023 “Fall in Love” collection. Its inspiration was David Mancuso billed as one of the first-ever DJs. The late Men’s Artistic Director, Virgil Abloh, who passed away in November last year built the newest men’s collection on Mancuso’s legendary loft parties in New York. Mancuso conceptualized The Loft in the 1970s. It soon became a popular venue in New York and The Loft along with music and clothing resonated with Mancuso’s personal beliefs in civil rights, freedom, women’s liberation, the LGBTQ+ movement, and psychedelia.
According to a statement via Hybebeast, the ensemble “explores how DJs and designers sample established genres to create sounds and looks that resonate with the outlooks of new generations.” “Fall In Love” offers contemporary variations on the 70s culture during Mancuso’s events at The Loft with various footwear, luxury workwear, and casual activewear.
