Todh Teri’s live set will bring his trademark House/Acid/Disco set to Auro’s dance floors. The artist’s set includes reworks and edits of Indian cinema music, reimagining it while retaining the original beauty of these adored classics. R.D. Burman, Bappi Lahiri, Iilaiyaraaja, Daft Punk, Mohammed Rafi, Nazia Hassan, and Kalyanji-Anandji, among others, are some of Todh Teri’s influences.
His performance at Auro is a part of the producer’s multi-city India tour, which commenced on September 4 in Bengaluru in collaboration with OODX. He will then head to Goa before performing at Mumbai’s Khar Social on September 16. With “more to be announced”, so far, the last two dates are September 23 in Indore and September 24 at Maushi Day in Pune.

Announcing the tour, Todh Teri said: “Happy to announce a multi-city India tour starting 4th September in collaboration with ODDX Looking forward to play a new Live set with an extra dose of Acid basslines…. see you on the dancefloor !!” Chandra Costanza Coletti and Masala Movement worked on the tour’s artwork.
Kaleekarma, who is well known for her deep house, trip-hop, electronica, and techno set, is also on the bill. As an artist who is fond of traveling, the people she meets and the sounds she hears serve as an inspiration. Her career as a DJ began a decade ago in 2012. Now, she also hosts a show called ‘Kindled Love’ on Boxout.fm.
Brought up in Delhi, India, Anuvbhav Sharma AKA D80 will open the night at Auro. This isn’t the first time he will be performing there as the DJ has played before with Lifafa too. His inspiration includes the likes of Norwegian music producer Lindstrøm and music composer duo from the 70s called Sapan – Jagmohan. D80 will kick off the night with his incomparable disco and electronic sounds. He has also taken the Magnetic Fields Festival stage in Rajasthan, India, in 2019.
