Operating primarily in trance music while experimenting with an array of styles, Infected Mushroom boast a loyal fanbase across the globe.

After coming together to make music in the mid-90s, Infected Mushroom released its first album ‘The Gathering’ in 1999, which resulted from the duo gathering inspiration from some heroes of psychedelic music like Simon Posford, X-Dream, and Transwave. The melodic yet aggressive approach of the album broke the European, Japanese, and American markets, making Infected Mushroom one of Israel’s key production duos.

Since then, Infected Mushroom has produced countless EPs and 12 studio albums while clocking thousands of air miles touring throughout the world dishing out its signature hypnotic arrangements, complex layered melodies. The duo’s explosive live performances has earned them a place amongst the world’s best performers.

When the world was ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic which shut down live shows, the duo took advantage of being off the road and released a mini album called ‘More Than Just A Name’ in 2020 on Monstercat Records. Now for the duo’s 14th long release, Infected Mushroom has returned to Monstercat to release ‘IM25’ LP. Having gained the support of fans and critics alike from every corner of electronic music.

Speaking about their forthcoming release, Infected Mushroom said ‘It took a few years & one germ to get this one out, we’re super excited to announce that our new studio album titled ‘IM25’ is getting released next Friday!

The album will be out on all platforms on September 24, and it is all set to be the next chapter in the duo’s love for dropping jaws and making listeners lose their mind while tuning into the greatest psy-trance band of our generation.
