TFword Premiere: SIREN – Amplify

The British drum & bass producer known for her pulsating style of music has returned with her second single of the year on SIREN Sounds Records.

Gemma Dobson aka SIREN is a British drum & bass producer with a penchant for the heavier side of the genre. SIREN made her debut in 2020 with ‘Dusk ‘Till Dawn’ and since then, she has garnered support and grabbed the attention of some big names in the scene. Her production exploits are equally complimented by her skills behind the decks.

Blending a variety of styles and genres like neurofunk, dubstep and trap, SIREN has a gained a solid fanbase, and so far in 2022, she has shared stages with the likes of Chase & Status, Andy C, Netsky, Pendulum, Modestep, Virtual Riot, Sub Focus, Dimension, Alison Wonderland, and Zeds Dead, to name a few. SIREN’s first single of the year and most recent release, ‘VENGENCE’, was made the cover of the worlds biggest DnB playlist on Spotify: ‘Massive Drum & Bass’, and has been licensed to Universals U-NXT, whilst also receiving support from Andy C, Doc Scott, Monrroe and Mollie Collins.

Speaking about her unique sound, SIREN says “I am defining my sound within the scene. I want to set my own standard form my production with a repertoire of turbulent soundscapes, flawless mixdowns and heart-stopping DJ sets.”. The rising producer is currently working on her debut EP with which she aims to show her versatility; while she does this, SIREN has released an electrifying single called ‘Amplify’ which we are stoked to premiere.

Charged up rhythms with simple yet effective drum patterns make ‘Amplify’, a peak time drum & bass belter. Watch out for the tantalizing breakdown before the ferocious second drop. Speaking about the tune, SIREN says “Amplify is my most defining track yet, it showcases who I am as a producer and the direction I want my music to go in. The track is about heavy drums, turbulent soundscapes and that all important dramatic build.”
