The drum & bass pioneer who is known for his outrageous DJing skills has announced his biggest ever show at the O2 Arena for a 5-hour DJ set.
Pioneer of arguably the most innovative and exciting electronic music genre, the best DJ in the world (yes, I am making that claim), and founder of the biggest drum & bass label there is; every year, Andy C continues to push boundaries that seem unattainable for even the biggest names.
Right from his early days, Andy C has played a pivotal role in the genre’s rise, by making seminal music himself and through his Origin Unknown alias with label’s co-founder Ant Miles. What sets him apart as one of the greatest artists in electronic music are his DJ sets, that captivate crowds in thousands. His pulsing sets have seen him sell out both Wembley Arena in a few days, and a 13-week residency at one of London’s most iconic contemporary clubs, XOYO, in less than 2 hours.
This is just London; farther afield, he’s played headline DJ sets at the Great Wall of China, Burning Man and Red Rocks Colorado, through to QET Toronto, The Seoul Olympic Stadium, a sold-out arena tour of New Zealand in 2021, and multiple performances at Glastonbury. Collecting over 60 awards to date including DJ Mag (Best British DJ), DNBA (Best DJ), Top 100 DJs Poll (Highest Drum & Bass DJ), and the Ibiza DJ Awards (Best Bass DJ), Andy C has taken his legacy to a point where it will remain unmatched.
Adding another milestone to his greatness, Andy C has now announced his biggest ever show at the iconic O2 Arena, called Alive 2.0, in London at The O2 Arena on 7th April 2023. This one of a kind show will see the DnB great perform a 5 hour DJ set where he will take over visual controls to present a groundbreaking spectacle. While his live show is set to be one of 2023’s hottest indoor music events, this will also be the biggest indoor drum & bass event the UK has ever seen.
The production includes brand new Alive 2.0 set design, bespoke visuals and light show – all whilst Andy plays a special 5 hour set. Sign-up access for pre-sale tickets has begun already, with pre-sale tickets available from September 28 (artist and O2) at 10 AM, and September 29 (Live Nation and venue) at 10 AM. Any remaining tickets will then go on general sale at 10 AM on Friday, September 30. Fans can sign-up – HERE
Speaking about the event, Andy C said “Throughout my career I’ve had the honor to play in places & venues beyond my imagination. I’ve had the chance to share the love and vibes that only drum and bass can bring with so many of you and I can’t believe we have reached a venue as iconic as The O2 Arena London…absolutely insane!”
Now that the pre-sale tickets are about to go live, make sure you sign up for the event and while you are it, listen to this explosive DJ set from Andy C and give yourself some extra early pre gig warm-up.
