Paul van Dyk to Release ‘Hawkins Square’ With Alex M.O.R.P.H.

Legendary trance music producer and globally known DJ, Paul van Dyk, releases ‘Hawkins Square’ on September 23 with Alex M.O.R.P.H on Vandit Records.

Paul’s new single ‘Hawkins Square’ comes following the release of ‘Rhapsody’, which was dropped last month with Berlin-based DJ/ producer Chris Bekker and Jan Dzialek.

‘Hawkins Square’ pays homage to Duffer Brothers’ hit series ‘Stranger Things’ on Netflix. According to the press release, Paul says: “The inspiration is the thought of the clashing worlds, the two sides of a coin that essentially mean the same one thing.”

The star also revealed on Instagram that the new release will be available in the original version as well as an album mix. “Curious to see which mix will be your favorite,” he added.

The Grammy-nominated artist Paul van Dyk joined forces with one of the most influential DJs Alex M.O.R.P.H, who is also a Vandit Records artist, to produce ‘Hawkins Square’. Their latest collaboration will be released on Vandit Records, a record label founded by the iconic Paul van Dyk himself in 1999. Alexander Mieling AKA Alex M.O.R.P.H.’s latest release via Vandit Records is ‘Calling San Francisco’, which came out early last month.

Paul and Alex are frequent collaborators and have worked together before on ‘We Are’, ‘Breaking Dawn’, and ‘Voyager’, among others. Paul, who has displayed his remixing talents for pop stars like Britney Spears, Madonna and Justin Timberlake, received a Grammy nomination for the then newly added category Best Dance/Electronic Album for ‘Reflections’.

The timing of the release of ‘Hawkins Square’ couldn’t be better as the dance music star is currently on the Off The Record world tour. Fans in the US can expect “an early preview of his upcoming studio album”, giving the listeners an exhilarating peek into the “future of dance music” from one of the leading DJs, Paul van Dyk.

The star’s Mexico tour wraps up on September 24 at Mia Tulum, following which he will head to Prague for 2 shows at Distrikt7 before his SHINE takeover at Printworks, London, on October 7.
