David Guetta Becomes the 4th Most-Streamed Artist on Spotify
David Guetta became the 4th most-streamed artist on Spotify this week. The renowned French DJ, who kicked off this year by dropping the single ‘Permanence’ with MORTEN, took to social media to share a list displaying the five most-streamed artists on Spotify. Pop star Ed Sheeran holds the number one spot on the chart, followed by the Weeknd and Justin Bieber. Harry Styles is the fifth-most streamed artist on Spotify behind Guetta.
He wrote on his Instagram: “4th Most Streamed Artist in the world on @spotify! As dance music artists, we were underdogs for too long. Now more than ever, we are making an impact! I’m living a dream, and this incredible support of my music, which is my entire life, means the world to me. Thank you all for making it so beautiful ❤️.”
He also rolled out ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ with Bebe Rexha in August this year. The song has garnered over 232 million streams on Spotify so far.
Charlotte de Witte Releases New EP ‘Apollo’
Charlotte de Witte has released a four-track EP titled ‘Apollo’. The opening track on the EP is ‘Missing Channel – Original Mix’ followed by the title track ‘Apollo – Original Mix’. Before the closing track, ‘PPC – Original Mix’ comes track 3 – ‘Mercury – Original Mix’. Earlier this year, the Belgian techno phenomenon played for the victims of Ukraine in Brussels. She also took the Tomorrowland Winter, EDC, and Printworks London stages this year, among many others, and became the first female techno act to close the Tomorrowland Main Stage. She also dropped an EP entitled ‘Universal Consciousness’ in April.
“Very proud and humbled to announce that Apollo EP is the worldwide number one release on Beatport,” the DJ wrote on Instagram. “Your love and support have been overwhelming. Thank you all 🥰”
Meanwhile, producer Agent Orange DJ made a track out of a snippet from one of de Witte’s interviews in which she says, “Yeah because I started as DJ as well I didn’t start as a producer. So I’m not like the classic studio nerd that’s like always on his laptop making tracks. And then at some point gets them signed.”
After sharing it on Instagram, Agent Orange DJ said: “So what did you think of this video I posted last week? Should I upload the full track today?”
In a post shared on Instagram, he wrote: “The response to this clip has been super haha. Just added a Dub mix with less of the vocal as requested. Still a free download.”

fabric London to Become “World’s First” Nightclub-In-Residence at the Museum of London
fabric is joining forces with the Museum of London to become the “world’s first” nightclub-in-residence. The residency kicks off on October 25 with a one-night-only performance commissioned by artist Tai Shani, titled My Bodily Remains. Shani is a Turner Prize winner and her performance will include a live score by Maxwell Sterling and Richard Fearless. The new location is across the street from fabric nightclub.
Fabric will be teaming up with the Museum of London again in 2025 when the nightclub celebrates its 25th anniversary. The Museum will help fabric host its own exhibition to “celebrate its impact on London’s nightlife and music scene.”
Cameron Leslie, the co-founder of fabric, said: “fabric are thrilled to be teaming up with our friends and soon to be neighbours at the Museum of London on this new venture and residency. It is a significant moment for us in our journey to establish fabric as a key cultural brand and represents a core milestone for the venue as we move towards our 25th birthday in 2024. As well as communicating fabric as a core cultural space, we’re also on a mission to promote electronic music as an art-form.”
“This new residency reflects this and we’re delighted to be hosting the first event in the partnership featuring a special performance commission by Turner Prize Winning Artist Tai Shani on 25th October,” Leslie added.
