Southern California-based rock bands Lit and Hoobastank have joined forces to embark on their Tried-N-True Tour 2022. The ongoing tour, announced back in August 2022, is organized to mark twenty years of Hoobastank’s self-titled release, ‘Hoobastank’. It encompasses sixteen shows and will feature the likes of Alien Ant Farm and lead singer and guitarist Kristopher Roe of the punk rock outfit Ataris. We take a look at the co-headlining concert that will take place on November 6, 2022, at The Echo Theatre on Texas Avenue. Tickets for the event are powered by The Ticket Fairy.
The Echo Theatre, located at 500 North Texas Avenue in Odessa, will host one of the six shows scheduled in Texas. This multi-purpose theater, which initially opened its doors all the way back in 1951, serves as a premium venue for live music, theater, film screenings, and a dedicated platform for local talent. The venue will open its doors at 6 PM for the Tried-N-True Tour, with the show beginning at 7 PM.
Singer-songwriter Kristopher Roe, who was announced as a supporting act on tour, will open the show, performing solo accompanied by acoustic guitar. Alternative rock band Alien Ant Farm will hit the stage after Roe. Ushered by the powerful vocals of Dryden Mitchell, attendees can be sure to be led into a singalong of the band’s popular singles.

Up next will be the Grammy-nominated four-piece alternative rock, hard rock, and pop rock group Hoobastank, comprising founding member Doug Robb, guitarist Dan Estrin, drummer and music producer Chris Hesse, and bassist Jesse Charland. The Tried-N-True Tour commemorates two decades since the release of their eponymous debut album, which was certified Platinum status in the United States. ‘Crawling in the Dark’, ‘Running Away’, and ‘Remember Me’ are the most popular releases from the album.
Closing the show for the evening will be Orange Country-based alternative rock and punk band Lit. Brothers Ajay Popoff (Lead Vocals), Jeremy Popoff (Lead Guitar), and musicians Kevin Baldes on Bass and Taylor Carroll on Drums form the quartet. The band rose to prominence on the music scene in 1999, with the release of the single ‘My Own Worst Enemy’ from their album ‘A Place in the Sun‘. Lit’s latest work ‘Taste Like Gold’, their seventh album, was released in June 2022.
Hoobastank also launched a docuseries commemorating the band’s 2001 debut album’s 20th anniversary. The seven-part video series includes previously unseen footage from the recording process as well as interviews with the band members.
